- Strong FL that actually holds importance in the story
- Quiet, cold, and reserved ML
- Themes of friendship, comradery, and betrayal
- Well-crafted and interesting plots with high thrill (TV has a bit more action)

Main difference is that Connection is an investigation thriller about old friends while The Veil is more of a country-wide conspiracy.

Differences: Obviously the setting. Ripe Town is a historical drama while Connection is contemporary

- Antagonist friend group that are super supportive of each other but also one breath away from killing each other (the dynamics and even characters are *very* similar)
- Both are very thrilling and engaging, keeping you hooked
- Corruption and greed
- Lots and lots of whump
- Both have very good and memorable OSTs

Main differences is that BG has a zero to her journey for the ML and mostly takes place in a prison while Connection does not and is more focused on drugs.

Both are historical political stories set in the palace with an ill king, an evil queen, a crown prince no one wants, and corrupt ministers.

Main differences are of course the POV being that of a doctor in TNO but that of the crown prince in Kingdom and of course Kingdom being focused around a zombie apocalypse
