Title Beauty of Resilience
I took a break from watching after ep. 28. I had hoped the drama would get better in the last episodes, but I guess it just got worse. I'm enjoying the new comments in this page since that's how I've been feeling for a while. I'm also actively reading spoilers because I intend to finish it, but don't want to be caught off guard by ongoing ridiculous writing. I'm surprised the rating is still so high. Anyway, 4/10.

They will probably pull out an idea for a HE out of the same hat they've been pulling out all of their other plot ideas?

I was hoping it would get better and prove me wrong, but I guess it's becoming an even bigger train wreck?

Title Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty
Yang Xuwen is killing it. The romance pulls the quality down for me though, kinda unnecessary and out of place,…
I agree this didn't need any romance.

Title Back from the Brink
Me too…but they are so pretty with great chemistry that I would have a very difficult time dropping the series.
I agree. I was watching L&R simultaneously with this one and I wanted to smack Xuanji few times. She had me almost ripping my hair out.

Yes, their chemistry is so good. That's part of what kept me watching.

is anyone having any problems watching videos on iqiyi, wether I have the site open in my browser or vis the app…
I have the Roku app and it's really bad. Sometimes I have to restart the app a couple of times to get the video selection to show or the app will autoexit and take me to my Roku home when I choose an episode to play.

Title Back from the Brink Spoiler
Every time I rewatch episode 37, I get mixed feelings....sometimes I feel bad for Suying, sometimes I feel that…
Honestly, watching her in the snow defeated after it happened was so satisfying for me. She was stabbed by the one she loved like she stabbed Tianyao. Although, I feel she died too fast. It was beautifully portrayed. But yes, a real show down would have been even more satisfying.

I also agree with your assessment of who was the greater evil. He was the mastermind behind the scenes waiting for people to succumb to their turmoil.

he should have run away with her... but then i guess we wouldn't have anything to watch then ;)
I agree. He completing his mission during the war is the only thing that has made sense in this drama so far.
