The ending was so unsatisfying. Why is Hwal back? He was Bulgasal! I hate when writers make unrealistic "happy endings" without explaining. The drama should have ended at tge "30 years". The episode was great until the last few minutes.

I was completely disconnected from Hellbound, for me it was a trainwreck and nothing was explained. I can at least make sense of what's happening in Bulgasal, although the first half of tge drama was all over the place. Read the comment from SwanSong1 a few posts above yours. Their theory is what I've also been thinking is what happened.
