Ep.15: struggling to get through this medicine valley arc and FL's self-righteousness. It could have been done in a more engaging way but it was just her being arrogant and lecturing others.
I'm curious how they'll adapt this into a drama. Many things will have to be changed but as long as the core remains then it should be an entertaining watch.
Ep.14: the question FL asks is valid but is also naive. Using cultivation and an immortality tax as a metaphor for wealth inequality and inflation is a bit too simplistic but I'll give kudos to the scriptwriter for daring to include it considering the government's policy over there.
FL was more interesting before the memory loss. I hope the plot gets back on track soon. This medicine valley arc is important to the narrative but it's not as interesting as what came before it.
Capitalism may be imperfect but I know communism is not any better if that is the agenda they are trying to push.
It's a Cdrama so it's expected that it follows their censorship rules. In real life, both communism and capitalism have proven to be flawed in application.
The team behind this drama is impressive from director and onwards. Makes sense that it is this good despite budget limitations.
