Yes I get that. My point is it comes too late. A good scriptwriter would build little hints into the storyline so it gradually solidifies. Here FL is getting her insights in the last mile. I dread what the ending will be like.

It would be more convincing if the dialogue reflects that. If she started treating things and people more seriously with each episode's progression. As I mentioned above, she talks about the script and the fictional world in every.single.episode. If she would stop talking about it, her actions towards the characters in this world would have more emotional weight.

The camp fire scene in Ep.27 where FL starts talking about her family and their deaths sounds really odd. They are not her real parents and she still regards this world and its characters as fictional, so where does this love and attachment come from? This is poor writing by the scriptwriter. Not enough time was spent on building her emotional ties to the people here. Then she says this world is a storybook, so she suddenly loves her fictional family?
