Unnecessary drama really but people love to talk and compare. There was no way the comic could be adapted anyway.…
Respecting boundaries is a forgotten virtue these days. As an older BL fan, I'm embarrassed by these younger fans' behaviour. Parasocial relationships are not healthy, especially if a person can't separate fantasy from reality.
Amused at Naphat saying he needs to get out of the jungle and return to civilization soon because he's filming another drama on location. Poor guy. Must be hell filming in a jungle in this weather.

Let me explain that comment. BL fans were directly tagging the two lead actors and scriptwriters on twitter, and some were doing it at live interviews with the actors, to engage in BL teasing and discussion. The actors played along at first but then acted like they didn't understand the teasing and then had to deny any "romance" going on between their characters when it got too much. It's understandable as they don't want to get into hot water or get jailed at worse. The scriptwriter later said it wasn't romance but consideration of friendship and brotherhood and this caused outrage in BL fans as they accused her of "selling out".
There was no need for the comic writer to step into this situation to "protect her fans" at all.
It used to be basic etiquette for BL fans not to harass actors or creators of media that is not explicitly BL. It's okay to fangirl and ship but not to make people uncomfortable to the degree they have to come out to repeatedly deny a fantasy.

I'm aware of all the details. Thank you, you don't need to explain it to me. This "helpful attempt" at clearing an issue that happened before the series was filmed by a person who is likely a friend or part of the inner circle of the comic writer is obviously to cause controversy for a successful drama that is about to air its final eps.
The attempt to claim plagiarism is hilarious because the two series are very different, sharing only history and characters. I'm actually disappointed in the comic creator as I followed her from day 1 and didn't expect this kind of behaviour from her or her friends.
No Thai person is unaware of Thai history and that King Nareusan is a national hero who is practically deified much like China/Japan does to its prominent figures. There is no way the general public would accept what they see as defamation of a Thai hero. The comic writer herself knows this as she had to hold back and be careful in what she could draw in her comic.
This is all rather disingenuous and someone who takes a little time to think about it would understand.

Unnecessary drama really but people love to talk and compare. There was no way the comic could be adapted anyway. Also who is this person that is being "so kind" to share?
