For those wondering, it's not BL nor quite a Bromance. The relationship between the two princes is at the core of the drama and is portrayed as a strong platonic relationship like soul mates in Chinese dramas.

Of course, this doesn't stop people from shipping the two together. I'd say give it a try because it's really well done.

I like the way the plot is progressing. There's romance but it doesn't forget DX is a general in the midst of war with court politics and rivals interfering.

This is a nice change after being frustrated by another drama.
