Pretty good, short and lovely. Good if you don't want to commit to 16 episode drama and only want something boiled down to two episodes.

Lovely series, very fluffy, made me feel like floating on top of clouds the entire time. This is 100% your emergency dosage of lovely, cutely, romancy, fluffy series with no drama or conflicts.

Just finished this series, both season 1 and 2 and the movie.
It's the first J-Drama I've watched, I've been only watching kdrama but I might watch more jdrama now.

This series is awesome, it has you hooked and is triggering so many emotions. It has you wiping your eyes often.

I watched the korean version first, Boys over flowers, and really liked that series, watched it twice... and I was somewhat skeptical to watch the japanese version because I just loved the korean one so much. But I don't regret it. I love the japanese version, and the korean version. I think both are great.

But afterwards I think the japanese version is better, at least I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't watched Boys over flowers to watch the japanese version first.

I think the japanese version is more to the point and wraps things up better than the korean one, giving a better conclusion to the story.

This is my #1 all time series, and it does get better... half the series is "build up" to the latter half.

Ok I have completed the first two episodes of the original japanese series, Hana Yori Dango. It's great, much better than the chinese version. Although the korean version is dear to my heart, the japanese version is of similar quality I feel like. But I need to finish it to truly compare.

Only watched first two episodes so far and wasn't impressed. I've watched the korean version, Boys over flowers, two times already and I really enjoyed it... I felt the main cast was much better in Boys over flowers.... at least I'm just comparing the first two episodes where the characters are established. But I'm a kdrama fan so I'm probably biased.

I liked this series, I don't know why people dislike scifi so much here. Sure it's kdrama, but not all kdrama has to be the same. It's a bit different, more action packed, scifi. It's the same with Eternal Monarch series, it has similar scifi stuff and wasn't well received, but because I like scifi stuff I did like it a lot.

Ahn Ji Hye is listed as "support role", but she's actually the main role, and Lee Min Ji is in "support role", they got it mixed up.

A little strange movie, didn't dislike it but didn't enjoy it, only worth watching if you like sword fighting.

Great political drama/thriller. I did watch the american version, but I prefer the korean one. Great lead actor.

Different from what I was hoping. I was hoping for more comedy, and maybe some romance. But it's a pure coming-of-age drama movie, and that may be interesting to some but I didn't have much fun watching it.

I really enjoyed this series. Yoon Eun Hye is as awesome as ever. I don't think it deserves a low rating, although it can get a little drawn out some episodes. I felt like it had too many characters with side stories, which didn't get fully explored. So while the main story with the main leads is great, as soon as it delves into the side story characters it gets a little boring.

I've been watching some of these old series, and many have pretty good songs. I especially like the soundtracks in Full House, and also Boys over flowers has one of the best soundtracks. So no, I don't think age is a big factor since old series do have good soundtracks, just not My Girl.

Some scenes were ok and funny, but overall it was difficult to finish this series as it became a choir to watch the episodes. The female lead was the only thing worthwhile to watch in this series, but everyone else was quite stiff and I didn't find there was much chemistry in this series. You won't miss much by skipping this series, there are plenty other ones more interesting.

Finished the series. I love it. It's one of my all time favorite series. So sweet and so lovely and most importantly, it's hilarious, the comedy is neverending. I fyou liked romance, sweetness and comedy then you'll like this.

It's fine, but didn't totally love it. The soundtrack is just bad, same outdated songs on repeat throughout the series... almost made me want to mute it. But the story alright and it has its moments. Honestly I watched Sweet 18 before watching this, and Lee Dae Hae was also in that series but as the antagonist. So I kind of compared the two series, and I liked Sweet 18 ten times more than My Girl.

I'm half way through and wow... what a great series, hilarious and sweet. I had NO EXPECTATIONS when I started watching this. I was just trying out old series that are not in good video quality and despite that this is giving me a good laugh, and proper rom drama.
But sure it's getting a bit dated, and I agree with some here that maybe they should make a remake of this.
Maybe the title could be different, maybe "Immature Wife" or "Obsessed Wife" or just "Obsessed" or something... Sweet 18 a bit generic and doesn't give an idea what it's about. I barely knew what the series was about, just read like a 2 liner about it.
If you find it in good video quality I still recommend watching this.
