I'm sure the dream in "his world" where everything died as he walked had a special meaning, since as she walked towards him everything sprung back to life (to his surprise it seems). So we're given a bit of her purpose perhaps in the whole scheme of things.
Pretty awesome series in the supernatural/romance/fantasy genre, one of my favorite. However it's a bit long, so viewer beware that this is a longer series than usual and some episodes can be a bit drawn out. Took me couple of months to finish this series as I usually just watched one episode at a time. But overall after completing it, finishing the final 2 episodes in one night, I can say that it finished pretty good, much better than compared to some other series in similar class. So I'd definitely recommend if you like this class of series and don't mind longer ones.
Looking awesome so far, ep 3 was good. Never a dull moment, always something fanning out or interesting happening. It's an intelligent story, well written. I'm glad I've found my new weekly goto drama after Mr. Queen.
On the contrary, I think in comparison to other jdramas, this one had really good production value. Obviously…
I probably didn't mean to say it was "negative", I removed that word, it's not necessarily a bad thing that it's not a big budget drama, but more like they did a great job with making a fun series with clearly a low budget. Often creativity doesn't need much budget, and I often find high budgeted dramas rather boring.
I usually don't think much about hair styles and such, but I just had to comment on Park Bo Young's hairstyle in this series. I didn't like it. It doesn't suite her I feel like, I much rather prefer the hair style she sports in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon and now Doom at your service.
I do still like this series, but somehow it's becoming a bit unfocused, unbalanced. I guess we'll have to wait and see how this evolves. I feel like the next episode is gonna be a big one.
Awesome to see Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk bringing their "A-Game" in this drama. I especially missed seeing more of Park Bo Young, Abyss was a bit of a miss for me, but in Doom At Your Service she's looking great and bringing her awesome acting talent out.
I see your point, although suspicious partner was more serious. Did you notice the ML of this drama is the 2nd…
Ah! I didn't realize that. And yes, Suspicious Partner is more drama thriller, although the first episodes of Suspicious Partner are quite humorous in a similar fashion.
um ok we already know it's cliché but some r still enjoying it ok??????
Yeah :) some of us can't always watch heavy melodrama series... I really enjoy watching series like this where the FL is down on her luck and doing silly things, getting herself into endless troubles, very comical somehow.
Finishing 4th episode now. Kinda getting My Secret Romance vibes, along with Suspicious Partner. edit: oh I now see it's from the same director as My Secret Romance... no wonder I recognized some of the sound effects :) oh and he's also using some of the sound effects from Strong Girl Bong Soon... I like it but it kinda hints at some laziness in in the sound department.
Interesting take on a contract marriage between two dysfunctional adults, one being a guy that is shy and keeps to himself, and a woman that has a positive attitude but has given up hope on making it career wise and beaten by society. Fun and cute and all that, but it does get a little stale after a while. But worth watching.
Easily lovable silly cute rom com of a time traveling high school tomboy girl that falls for a young lord. The only thing I could say about it is that it's clearly not very high budget, and it's a bit targeted for teen audiences I felt like. Great actress, can't get "wakagimi sama!!" out of my head :)
Lovely series, very fluffy, made me feel like floating on top of clouds the entire time. This is 100% your emergency dosage of lovely, cutely, romancy, fluffy series with no drama or conflicts.
Just finished this series, both season 1 and 2 and the movie. It's the first J-Drama I've watched, I've been only watching kdrama but I might watch more jdrama now.
This series is awesome, it has you hooked and is triggering so many emotions. It has you wiping your eyes often.
I watched the korean version first, Boys over flowers, and really liked that series, watched it twice... and I was somewhat skeptical to watch the japanese version because I just loved the korean one so much. But I don't regret it. I love the japanese version, and the korean version. I think both are great.
But afterwards I think the japanese version is better, at least I'd recommend to anyone who hasn't watched Boys over flowers to watch the japanese version first.
I think the japanese version is more to the point and wraps things up better than the korean one, giving a better conclusion to the story.
Only watched first two episodes so far and wasn't impressed. I've watched the korean version, Boys over flowers,…
Ok I have completed the first two episodes of the original japanese series, Hana Yori Dango. It's great, much better than the chinese version. Although the korean version is dear to my heart, the japanese version is of similar quality I feel like. But I need to finish it to truly compare.
