It's difficult to write a good time travel story, and this one isn't perfect.
It's not only a time travel story, it's a parallel universe story, because the time travelers jump back into time in another universe.

Also the implied romantic affection between the leads has me scratching my head, because they are mother and son, that's incest. But I guess they kind of explained it off by saying:
"That's not actually his mother, it's another women in a parallel universe that looks exactly like his mother."

I honestly don't know how they decided to go with that and thought the audience would like it. lol.

Overall, I found it alright to watch, but its plot and story is flawed.

Very cute and fluffy drama, I quite like it, enjoyable heart lighted comedy romance. If you're tired of too heavy dramas this might be fine.

I did finish this, and it got better. However I did find it quite complicated, you not only have so many characters, the characters can be different persons. But it was still good to watch, the special effects are well done. It was very slow to start, I feel like they could have made the first part in only 5 episodes. I also thought the antagonists were a bit lacking.
Also I found the ending to be very sudden, I thought it didn't conclude very well.

I do not know why this cdrama gets such a high rating. It feels almost as enjoyable as watching the United Nations Security Counctil debating, so many "gods" debating. Occasional heavenly fights, but overall there is little character development, and I don't care for anyone after 20 episodes.

I agree. In historical dramas you can have the lead characters with hidden identities, like a secret princess or prince, a secret origin that can have big consequences. There's a power struggle for the throne that can be interweaved into historical dramas that you can't replicate with contemporary dramas. All that re-inforces the love story being told. Compare that to contemporary love stories, usually a rich man and poor girl, and the man is a CEO or chaebol, and they fall in love, but the chairman/chairwoman can't approve of it. That's the power dynamics in contemporary love dramas usually :)

Just realized the ML played the psychopath in Itaewon Class. SO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS!! Day and night.

You're right! In every drama I've seen killed it, even as a support lead she was very rememberable, like Oh my ghost as the disabled sister of ML, and in She was pretty as a office girl she was so funny.

Better than expected series, I really liked it. Being only 10 episodes made it actually better, having everything to-the-point and not drawn out at all, always something going on in the story to carry you. I sometimes wish more kdrama were fewer episodes, 16 episodes is too long, I sometimes give up after 10 episodes.

Just finished today, and I agree with you. The ending is.... whaat.... it's like the writers decided, "we don't know how to end it, let's just let the viewer use his imagination!"

I don't understand the MDL rating here, only 8.6. That's just too low for this amazing series.
I can find bunch of 8.6 MDL rating series that are far inferior.

Wow, I previously watched My Secret Romance, and those two series are so eerily similar! The FL only has a different job really, but mostly both FL and ML are the same characters, even the ML is the same actor, and the FL lead in both series have exactly the same quirks, hair style, clumsiness etc. I also notice the same sounds/music in both dramas.
I feel like Noble, My Love was almost like a pilot series for My Secret Romance. Funny enough both series have the same MDL rating, but I think My Secret Romance is better because at least the characters are more developed and the ML actor acting has improved.

Yea, the earlier episodes, 3-7 or so, were a bit slow really. But this is now rolling nicely and lots of things happening, so it's more fun to watch.

I think that's the next secret that will take a few episodes to be revealed, that she is in fact his first love and she is not dead.

I'm watching like 10 different dramas now, and this one is my favorite, cannot wait for the latest episodes.

Short, sweet and polite series (like almost all jdrama). Can't say it's very emotional, but a bit cute more.

Ha Ji Won did well in Empress Ki, but she was still a bit pretty as a man. But in Coffee Prince, Yon Eu Hye, was such a guy that I believed it.
I think older series were more serious in their character acting than current series, which seem to be more about fame and puff. Like they use people in their 30's for high school character roles now, but some 15 years ago they actually used high school aged actors for high school roles.
