I think that in his mind if he stayed in Thailand that would mean at some point the people around him need to take care of him. He probably thinks that selfish of him, he doesn’t want to be a burden to the people around him. His friend is trying to persuade him from not doing it, he indirectly tells him that the people who love him, friends, family a loving partner will take care of him. The moment Ping mentioned Switserland I knew what he was going to do. The movie Me Before You uses the same story, a guy being paralyzed from the neck down, who is in constant pain, ends his life because he can’t do it anymore.

Ping has probably reached the point that he doesn’t want to do it anymore, that he doesn’t want to keep fighting, while his body is deteriorating. It’s a struggle when your mind wants to do so much but your body doesn’t let you do it. To have to accept that you can do less and less. Ping’s friend is hoping that by letting Ping see the beauty in his life, friends, family, a loving partner, that he can convince him not to do it. But at some point you just can’t do it anymore.

it was heartbreaking to see this episode, and it resonated in me. I have had that fight, to keep going even though you can do less and less. I got a happy ending but not everybody does.

I wish Pat would grow a backbone and just tell Paeng to go away, that he has moved on. That he does not love her anymore. If Pat had done that when she showed up at his hotel then these misunderstandings wouldn't happen. I mean at this point the ex girlfriend is acting like a stalker, first at the hotel, then following Elyes and Pat around the beach, and now showing up at his work. What is next? His house?

I canmot feel sorry for Run, believe me, i tried but this latest episode just confirmed it for me. Run left a perfectly healthy relationship to be with Long, even if he did to protect/help his brother who is in jail. He had Elyes who he could have confined in, I believe Elyes was already rich or at least earning a decent amount of money, so Run could have gone to him. My point is Run had more options than only Long. And Run seeing Long cheating on him, I mean what did he expect? Did he really expect Long to be loyal to him? At this point I'm over Run and Long, they can have each other! I don't know what the writers are trying to do maybe make me feel sorry for Run or whatever. But the moment Long bragged about having s*x with Run in front of Elyes, was the moment they could both dissapear from my screen. Run and Long hurt Elyes so bad, they traumatized him to the point that he didn't dare to commit to anyone. I cannot justify cheating, no matter what!

And as for Kim, I don't know what to make of him. He seems at times very desperate, possessive and jealous over Elyes. Even though Elyes never committed to him or his FWB. But then in this episode, he says to Pat, that it's only Pat who makes Elyes deny others. So yeah mixed feelings.

But so far I'm really enjoying this series. I love the moments between Elyes and Pat. The way Elyes ran to Pat when he was crying, them eating diner together. Elyes getting jealous of Pat and making the whole building give him extra work, I honestly laughed so hard at that one.

From what I understand is the girl his sister, who he hasn’t seen in some while. Watch the flashback again where is father tells him he is an embarrassment, and Ter decides to leave. That seems to be the same girl. There is definitely some underlying tension and issues between them.

Thank God I wasn’t the only one. I had a hard time watching the first half of ep 12, the controlling helicopter mom doesn’t sit well with me. Did we seriously need 20 min for the mom and Diew to talk it out? Those minutes could be used to see more of Beer and Wan (who apparently dont exist anymore, or only for a minute?!)
Of course everything had to be wrapped in a neat little bow in the end, the child apologizes to the parents (doesn’t matter how toxic the parent is or even if they deserve an apology) and they suddenly are a happy little family. In fiction it might work, real life not so much.
The big bright light was Grandpa on the other hand, he accepted Diew for how and who he is. And gave sound advice when needed.

Because then the abuser has to acknowledge that he or she has lost all control over the victim.

I agree with your post. Though we have seen that during these “dates” with Kim there hasn’t happened anything, since Elyes and Pat shared the bed together. But Pat doesn’t know that.

I had very mixed feelings watching this episode, but that moment with the list, you as a viewer think yes finally Elyes sees what he needs to do, to deserve Pat. And then comes “everybody but Kim”, you feel your own disappointment and heartbreak for Pat. At this point if Pat decides to quit, it’s because of the games Elyes is playing with him.

Watched the first 4 episodes, so far i’m really enjoying it. I like Ohm and Leng together, they seem very natural and comfortable together. They have beautiful chemistry. Even though the plot might not be all that thick and complicated, it doesn’t really have to be that. I don’t expect it to be that. For a newer actor Leng is doing a good job, I think it was a wise decision to partner him with Ohm, who has been acting for so long now. I hope they keep going like this!

I don’t think I could have agreed more. This whole argument, misunderstanding could have been easily avoided. If Diew just had opened up. I had a hard time with this episode, because it also felt very out of character for Diew to do this. Diew and God so far had not really any issues if it came to communication. But then out of the blue Diew withholds information from Diew, and lying by omission is still lying. Diew should have told God the truth a soon as he heard Pee had spoken to God.

God clearly realized something was up with Diew the moment they left the vet. God asked it nicely and full of respect, who Pee was to Diew. It could have been avoided if Diew had said “he is an ex, it ended badly, I don’t like talking about it”. We have seen how much God respects Diew, he probably would have dropped it or said something like I understand, if you are ready, I’m here for you.

I had the feeling that God knew very well that Pee was Diew his ex. From the picture and the talk he had with Pee. It felt as if God just wanted Diew to be honest and open up about it. I think at some point God his own insecurities took over and it escalated.

The more I started thinking about it, Diew never really opened up towards God. He barely spoke to God about his mother, when she “bugged” him. I can’t remember if Diew ever explained why he needed the time alone after he walked away from the museum date (because of that comment the girl, can’t remember her name). So I do agree with God’s comment towards Diew about that he doesn’t knows Diew, as much as he needs to.

Diew has the notion to shut people out when he hurting and I get that, but at some point he might just push God completely away from him. I get that he has been traumatized by others in the past, but my problem with this part is that God has proven time and time again, to be different. God has treated Diew with respect and lots of patience, he doesn’t push Diew in anything, gives him space when he needs it. It felt somewhat of a disservice towards God and their relationship that he didn’t speak up or tell God about what is going on.

About your last comment, I agree. The past episode I cringed so hard because of how God was babying Diew. I had moments I was yelling at my phone, let Diew eat on his own! The whole feeding and cleaning Diew, brr.

Beautiful review, I completely agree. Though I had the feeling that both male teachers, Zhao Xi and He Jin, knew something was up, when all the teachers talked to Wang.

After the first 4 episodes, my rating for this show was 9,5. After just finishing it, my rating has become a 10! I loved this show, and my god these actors are just so amazing. The emotions Benjamin showed in the last episode, blew me away. Words weren’t needed, Tian said everything with his eyes and the clenched jaw. Eric showed us the absolute confusion and heartbreak Wang felt. The realization that Wang needs to step back and to make that decision, to choose and stay “brothers”, was just so heartbreaking.

I felt happy, sad, angry, heartbreak, breathless, excitement, annoyed and so much more during these episodes. I’m really hoping we are getting a season 2, because it cannot end here. I need more of Wang and Tian! I want to see more of the excellent and breathtaking acting, Eric and Benjamin have showed us, so far. The ending gave me hope that more will follow!

Indeed the eyes and the clenched jaw said everything. I felt Tian’s heart break when he heard that Wang was going to class B, the falling of the pen, my god I felt that. Let’s hope season 2 will come soon.

Mos and Bank are both good actors I just feel like they are given these scripts, that lack story, character development etc. My thing with Sunset is I feel like they had to many side couples. If it was only the 2 brother Sun and Sam and their partners, it would have been better.

We barely got to see the relationship buildup of Sam and Yotha. We got the GL side couple, which didn’t really do much for me, and then the side couple Chan/Juldis. It’s to many scenes going in to many different directions.

I think the fantasy part/past soul part was barely used or explained. It’s sad because the series had so much potential. I was with them from the first episode, it just went somewhat down hill from there.

They had not only to much side couples but also different storylines trying to wrap it all up. The thing with the design necklaces of Lin constantly being stolen, used could have been written better. Same with the past life, fantasy part. They should choose one and stick to that one.

I don’t want to critique to harshly but the thing with some of the NC scenes both SunLin seem somewhat stiff, I missed the passion, especially in the last NC scene. Sun has multiple times threatened to tear Lin his clothes from his body but he never does (missed change). I wanted to see fabrics rip, buttons flying, etc (yes yes I know I’m picky)

I know the chemistry can be there because in Big Dragon they definitely delivered the nc scenes. I don’t know if it’s Lin who is supposed to be inexperienced or something. The last nc scene (after the runway) it could have been a photo shoot, with the arched back, it just didn’t hit the right place for me. Besides that Lin looked bored. Don’t know if somebody like Sun came at me with that much passion, i probably wouldn’t be sitting patiently with an arched back, still on a chair. But that’s me.

But then I did love the painting nc scene in the previous episode. So maybe it’s just me, who isn’t easily satisfied.

Maybe I’m being to harsh, I feel sad for the actors. They really are trying to make the best out of series, it just kind of a miss with me.

Of all the nicknames and pet names they could have chosen they went with Khun Dad, it’s just was a nope for me. Every time I heard it I was reminded of father/son bond.

I don’t know who came up with “let’s add sounds to the BJ” because without it, the picture was clear what Lin was about to do as soon as he went down. I wanted to throw my headphones off because it was so bad.

Now some good points;
- I loved Bank his runway, the white clothes on him were beautiful and he looked gorgeous.
- I liked how they wrapped - the stealing/selling of Lin’s necklaces - up fast, they didn’t draw it out.
- I liked how proud Sun was of Lin.
- I liked that Sun let Lin go and deal with Lord … alone.
- I like how stable Lin and Sun looked in their relationship.
- I liked that Sun supported Lin when he was nervous before the runway. Actually throughout the series, Sun has always believed and supported Lin.

Overal it’s a 7,5 for me. Will I be watching it again maybe, not sure. I’ll probably watch it again for a better review. I did like the series, I just didn’t love it.

I hope to god that the next series MosBank is offert is going to be a huge hit, they deserve it. We know they can act! I feel so sad for Bank, they deserve so much better.

We can agree to disagree. Lets be clear you have no idea how I live my life, you say some prejudictic things about me though. Some series are not for you, if you think that this series was made for only “little girls with unicorn fantasies” that is also fine, it’s in the end your opinion.

I honestly like this series because it’s light, it’s funny, it’s awkward, which between all the other shows is actually nice to watch for a time.

Might it give a wrong impression about gay men who are young and have a sex drive, yes it might. But I also can imagine being anxious and nervous about your (first) relationship. I never said that with sex this series wouldn’t be beautiful anymore, I said not everybody has to have the urge to jump on somebody the moment they met.

I get the having a hate or annoyance for a series but I just stop watching it. I wouldn’t have wasted my time writing a comment. Can I ask do you have a BL series you do like? And yes PlayBoyss is a BL series, though most can get through it because of the many NC scenes and almost a nonexistent storyline.

Why don’t you go watch PlayBoyys or better get some actual porn if you want boys to have sex constantly! You have clearly missed the entire plot of this series. You thinking that a new relationship with both characters nervous, anxious and maybe a bit naive, should just jump into bed with each other? It’s a beautiful story, you say they have a lack of physical desire, I say the desire is there, they just build up slowly towards it. Not everybody is comfortable with physical intimacy right from the get go.

I just wonder if you don’t like the series, why keep watching?

And please for the love of all that is healthy don’t go mentioning you “pretended to be Taishin”, because that just sounds so wrong, to be honest.
