OMG!!!! Never thought that Taiwanese BL’s was like that!!?! Literally 🔥,too spicy for my heart. Our dream…
Personally I loved unknown, but not everybody liked it because it had a sort of step brothers trope in it. Orphan boy tries to take care of his sister but takes in another kid who lived on the streets. Throughout the series you follow those 3 including a friend of the orphan boy, you see them grow up and struggle with life and love.
Also one of my recent favorites is See Your Love, which next Wednesday has the last episode that airs. Zi Xiang is sent to Taiwan for business negotiations by his father, but during the trip he gets ambushed and gets hurt. He ask his capable assistant, Feng Jie, to hire Shao Peng as his caretaker, Shao Peng, who has problems finding a job because of his deafness and muteness, accepts the job offer. Slowly the two become closer and to try to understand and communicate with Shao Peng better Zi Xiang learns sign language.
It’s really a beautiful series, even if the first 3 episodes might frustrate you. The acting between them is beautiful, the two actors just make it seem so effortless. Their chemistry is breathtaking to watch. And the emotional scenes you feel them in your heart. I was especially impressed with Yin Yung (he plays the character Shao Peng), who did this whole series without saying a word, only the emotions on his face and the use of his hands, but with that he put a masterpiece on screen.
For both this was their first big role, Raiden Lin (Zi Xiang) played apparently in unknown as an office worker but that was a small support role. For practically rookies they just rocked it out of the park. If you liked Last Twilight you are probably going to like this one too!
As much I love the whole HillTer and JohanNorth love dynamic and wish I had a boyfriend who is crazy and possessively…
It was one of the first things I said to a friend of mine, if my boyfriend had made that decision without talking with me about it or even seeing if I was ready to make that step, moving in, living in together, we would be having a very serious conversation about boundaries and not pushing things. I get that they might have sped up things after Ter his little confession about North sleepwalking and crawling into his bed, which was kind of a private thing of North and shouldn’t have been blabbed about by a friend, but that is a whole other story.
Jessica and Sung Hu serve absolutely no real purpose……so annoying….when will writers realize we look at…
Right?! I do not care for the gl couple they are trying to show us. Those empty scenes could have easily cut short and we had one more scene wirh the second couple, who feel like they need at least 3 more episodes to get them to admit they love/like each other.
Seriously if they give us anything but a happy ending for Shao Peng and Zi Xiang I’m going to riot! What the fuck is that cousin (or brother, the subtitles are confusing) thinking? What is the point?
Why did the manager of the bar has to call in the middle of Fah and Rak kissing 😭😭. I knew it that the guy…
I just got all riled up because there was a video on instagram with people all feeling sorry for Oh, some saying even that Oh loved Rak more then Fah, like excuse me?
You mean the guy who blackmailed Rak into getting him to his party. Oh his words were “if you come to the party I’ll stop messing with you, I’ll stop making you uncomfortable”. So you are telling me Oh knew that Rak felt uncomfortable but still kept doing it? Than at Oh his party he deliberately intoxicated Rak, then tried to SA him, Rak tried to get away but was pulled back by Oh on his arms. It came to the point that Fah had to and intervene. Oh tried to punch Fah when he found out about them having a relationship. It’s the teacher who showed up that made him not do it. It was Oh who blackmailed the girl into coming between Rak and Fah. Oh then tried to destroy Fah his bar with bad reviews, fights and lawsuits only because he could not accept no. And not to mention the fact that Oh tried to buy Rak with expensive gifts, with which Rak again did not feel comfortable with and tried to decline them. Rak had troubles saying no and Oh took advantage of that. You mean that guy loves Rak more than Fah?
That is not love, if you love a person you do not do these things. You respect said person and his boundaries, you accept his no.
All these things I said above are not things to romanticize over, these are toxic sides of a person! These are not things he did because of his upbringing. Loads of kids get neglected and abused by their parents and they do not do these toxic things!
I don't like how they did Oh's "redemption". There was nothing to feel like he atoned for anything. So when they…
I wonder if Oh’s mother hadn’t just said that to appease her son, Oh was already talking about wanting to have Fah’s bar shut down after the birthday incident. His mother told him I can’t help you with it, her literal words were “don’t make a big deal out of it”. I feel like the more episodes we saw, the more Oh started spinning out of control. Her I’ll handle it, felt more like a: I hope I can destract him from it, buy some time attempt.
The flashback made me feel the same as you, you apparently can’t even help a guy without said guy falling for you and then starts bothering you. Very disturbing to see.
I see a lot of negative comments about Oh's redemption arc. Guys, I totally understand you, but this is how I…
Rak has told him many times already that he did not want to be with Oh. From the moment Rak said no to Oh in the bar it should have been clear enough. Hell Oh had to blackmail Rak to even come to his birthday party “if you come I’ll promise I won’t mess with you anymore and will not make you uncomfortable”. So clearly Oh did pick up on the fact that Rak was uncomfortable but still kept doing it. Maybe it was the first time Rak said with clear words that he did not want Oh, but seeing that a guy is uncomfortable around you, is a pretty clear signal somebody doesn’t want to be with you.
All lot of people had/have shitty parents but they do not turn out like Oh. They do not try to get somebody drunk to the point said person cannot say no anymore, or isn’t conscious enough to say no. They do not SA somebody, and force somebody like that way into a relationship. They also don’t go and try to get a bar out of business, just because the guy I like his boyfriend owns the bar.
Some people need to know the difference between childish and somebody who is just a happy bundle of energy. That last one is Gun, the first one is Ter from Forever You! Gun is a very positive guy who likes to be positive and happy towards others, but he gets when he needs to stop and be serious.
Sometimes it’s exactly such a person who can tear down walls from people who have endured stuff, because energy wise you pick up that such a person doesn’t have a mean bone in their body! Those people are also the easiest to trust, they tend to be themselves, they don’t hide behind masks.
Gun isn’t scared of by Yotha’s stiff cold persona, I think he very quickly saw what was under that image Yotha is trying to put forward to the world.
Some say it’s to quick, yeah maybe but things like somebody being insisting on taking care of you, while you have been so used to taking care of yourself. Somebody being overly concerned about being a burden to you, somebody caring enough to ask you if you will be alright. Those are all things that leave lasting impressions on a person.
As for the comments I see about Santa playing this role, for those who don’t like it and are overly critical about him, my advice would be, stop watching, you are not forced to watch! I was excited for this series the moment I heard Perth and Santa were going to be in it. They showed these past two episodes that they have good chemistry and are fun to watch. Also it’s not Santa his fault that the director likes to put these audio sounds under the scenes. That being said I loved the last two episodes.
And lastly: can we quit comparing actors with each other, if it’s Santa and Dunk or ForceBook and PerthSanta. They all have a different style of acting they are good in, one is not necessarily better then the other! It’s all subjective to our opinions, what you might like another does not like!!
I've been trying to find a drama with the same vibes as My school president and We are. This looks like it's similar…
yes, we had the first couple Book/Arm and Force/Arc. They had 8 episodes, from 9 we have a new couple Perth/Yotha and Santa/Gun. You did get in ep 10 a small scene with ArcArm but that was one scene. This series contains 24 episodes with 3 main couples, every couple of supposed to have 8 episodes.
I wrote this same post on Reddit and most people disagreed and said that since it is written as a rom com, it…
I mean Fadel said it himself in episode 5 (?), his trust in Style is like 80% (which is probably still exaggerated). I have double feelings about Style and what he did. I just think that with Style and Fadel they had more shared vulnerable moments and conversations, that is something that creates a bond. Where as Kant was very mission focused and was very aware of himself to not fall in love with Bison, even if he did fall for Bison. They had more fun moments, less vulnerable moments. I think Style was more himself around Fadel, that’s why I think Fadel will eventually forgive Style.

I said this 2 episodes back here on MDL. That I didn’t think that both couples would get a happy ending. I could see Fadel forgiving Style at some point and moving on from it together. Bison is the more unpredictable character, I see him holding a grudge, staying mad and not being able to trust Kant again.
For me the way he carried him from bed, n also in the shower. I didn't expect such scene or NC scene in this series
Taiwanese BL series don’t have many NC scenes, but when they do it, they do them justice. I found the nc scene in Unknown also beautiful and breathtaking, same with the shower scene.
Coz he already accepted all that before deciding to go all in with Zi Xiang. He definitely had all these insecurities,…
I also think the conversation in hospital between Shao Peng and Zi Xiang did help him. Zi saw trough him and scolded him for it, and later when they were on the hospital bed next to Shao Pengs mother, Zi was very honest to Shao that he could be vulnerable and weak with him and didn’t think otherwise about him. Sometimes a partner who speaks out about your securities and still loves you despite of them, is what you need to move passed then.
Am I the only one who didn't expect for captain to let Kant go, since he told him from the very beginning that…
I have more of a feeling that the Captain is never going to erase Kant his records, Kant has already done multiple jobs for the Captain, and still he hasn’t erased or cleaned them. It’s very handy to have a guy who wants to do (almost) everything for you, just threaten him with jail time and he complies. Instead of losing money to hire someone, you have a free help.

It’s his total behavior that’s not nice.
