Just saw this week's episodes, I am so shook, the actors are literally so in sync with their counterparts, they have the exact same expressions, oh my god, I love this show so much, the characters are still just the same, it's amazing: I have never seen a show where the older/younger versions of a character is portrayed in such a recognizable manner O0O And I loved the characters and their chemistry to start with; what is this >^< <3
I just watched the first 2 episodes and I hate everyone from the victim through the side-kick, the assailant, the lawyers, the boss and the main character, what is this? ^^"
I heard about this show all over the place, so I decided to see what the hype was, but how can a romance with this many couples have zero chemistry in the lead? The most thrilling couple in this whole show is the inconclusive parents' affair which has about five scenes ^^" The best friend couple was cute too, but I seriously just couldn't ship the leads - also, I can't be the only one who thought this was terribly written?? Who in the world would actually tolerate a relationship with someone this hot and cold? ^^" She's like "I'm leaving " "I'm back" "I'm leaving" " I'm back" and he's just like "Nuu!" "Okay" "Nuu!" "Okay" XD idk - I love Park Shin Hye, and honestly her acting wasn't bad or anything (imo), but the character was pretty weak - actually they all were. It felt like someone was just throwing the pieces around to follow the shape of a drama rather than writing a genuine story, even though this wasn't a particularly cliche drama (beyond the rich boy poor girl trope). Obviously a lot of dramas follow cliches, but if written convincingly, they can still be just as good for it.
Aside from the nonexistent chemistry/ love triangle between the kids, this was great XD Hilarious, I hope this gets a second season, it could do really well as a long running show if the writers can keep up the weird revenge plots ^^
Ryu Han Bi is awesome, she brings the character to life so well! <3 - I really hope that Jin Ki Joo can show some of that, but from what I saw her future self might just be too traumatized... ><
vat. pancake. what a name. APPLAUSE! i love food names
Thai parents seem have a strange sense for foreign names, occasionally they're alright, but the other 70% of the time they'll crack you up until you realise they're serious, and then you just have to start laughing again ^^"
Right now it's got to be Seoul - I really want to see the street culture first hand, try the food, visit the Han river, and see what kind of fashions the weirdos wear, just walk around the city for myself to see what kind of place it really is, that kind of thing.
This was amazing, I loved it. I originally didn't realise it was a web drama, but just watching the first episode I felt satisfied as if I'd watched at least four hours of any other drama - I wish all dramas were directed like this, because I could have happily watched another 14 hours of this! I feel like the last scene should have been a little more conclusive, but the teaser special would have made an awesome part two if this were extended into a full length drama or just given a sequel >< If I'm honest, I think if this had been made as a 16 episode piece it wouldn't have been directed as well, but I think with the second part it would make a great 5 episode series!
