I have 2 more episodes to go. Randomly and inexplicably, I have fallen head over heels for..... wait for it...... Yeo Ri, the maidservant. No idea why.
I am absolutely heartbroken that the actress who plays her, Min Ji, has not been in anything for the last 4 years. Why? WHY!? T_______T
how disappointing that the rating of this drama dropped from 9.something to 8.9 :(((
The site is fine, trolls will always be a minority, and don't get too worked up about Fake Internet Points. This show is great, its popularity and awards speak for itself, and anyone who won't give it a chance is free to miss out as much as they want.
Healer is amazing. I know that, you know that, so don't let anything spoil that for you. :)
This definitely could have been better with another female lead.
Madness. Park Min Young was divine. I had never even heard of her before watching this and didn't expect much from her, yet she absolutely won my heart completely.
So you're saying it's reasonable for someone to judge something they know nothing at all about?
Seriously, the things you're saying you don't like don't actually exist. That's not what happened in this show. The ending is not what you are saying the ending is. "Personal choice" has nothing to do with this. You're claiming you "did not like" something that you never even experienced.
LJS is emotionless in this drama, like as if he forgot how to act. He just stands, walks, poses here and there,…
I think we watched different Pinocchios then. In mine, LJS was dynamic and intense. That boardroom scene where he is just letting all of his repressed anger come out and directing it at In Ha... man.... Acting masterclass.
Really, this one? It's probably the second or third-best, in my book, but I am surprised you would say this about a drama that doesn't feature Jang Na Ra. :P
But you've got Park Shin Hye, though, so that's basically just as good, right? ;)
Gotta admit, when I revisited this page, my heart leaped. I miss this show. I've never re-watched a drama, but I might want to re-watch this one before any others.
So... I guess she's "too old" to play a lead, but I'd love to see her given the chance. I found myself very attracted her nameless character in Yong Pal.
So I ended up giving this an 8.5 Overall, this was an absolutely excellent drama. One of the best I have ever seen, and probably the most tense and unpredictable.
However, what eventually caused me to drop it from a 9 to an 8.5 was, oddly, what they ended up doing with Choi Byung Mo's character.
I can kind of understand it, from a writing perspective, and how they need established characters to fit certain roles (trying to avoid spoilers here), but I don't think they executed it well. Don't get me wrong: Byung Mo acted the crap out of it, and did a fantastic job. I love his unusual voice and face, and his dignified mannerisms are cool. I'd like to see him in more stuff. But they just didn't handle his character change well in the writing. It lacked believability. It's the only big writing misstep in an otherwise amazing drama, though. It's a shame that it was kind of a critical one, even though he's not a major character.
I have to shine a light on Joo Won and Kim Tae Hee's chemistry, though. SO DARN CUTE TOGETHER. I was really impressed with the way Tae Hee was able to go from "scary" to "adorable" so easily.
And of course, Joo Won is perfect. And will always be perfect. At everything.

Also, my wife is a big Lee Pil Mo fan: would she enjoy this drama? Or is he sort of a bad guy here?
