16 episodes in and I cant believe how well-written this drama is. It's the most successfully "twisty" plot I have come across in a kdrama thus far. You never know what's going to happen next, and I love it.
While I could complain about some of the character choices, the plot is still so well-written that, even though I hate what some of the characters are doing, I am still on the edge of my seat wondering how everything is going to end up.
A really fascinating drama that is currently sitting at a 9. We'll see if the ending is strong enough to hold on to that rating.
I really wanted more scenes of Hwang Gyo Dong and Yoon Yoo Rae!
Oh yes! I found kindred spirits! I even made a Discussion topic about this very thing 2 days ago. Can't believe they didn't get a resolution to the romantic tension between them.
This drama is precious because it was good from the beginning to the end, the quality didn't fall after a few…
It's weird since it seems to have ended on a set up for a sequel series. That doesn't seem normal in kdrama. I'd like to see a "Season 2" for this one.
I want to watch this but I hate Jang Hyuk. He seem a bit overacting to me when I saw him in Fated To Love You.…
Fated to Love You was a zany comedy, so I think he was supposed to overact. However, this drama and Midas both prove he has range and can do more than just yell and be hilarious.
(Although, if you ask me, he's more amazing in FTLY than anything else)
What a great review. I don't think anyone has broken down Jang Na Ra's performance better than you did here: "There's a special quality about the rendition of her character that turns her weakness into strength, and her compliance into endearing sweetness. One can see why Gun falls in love with her, because the viewer experiences the same."
Can anybody tells me how jeon ji hyeon was teenager from the first time he saw her until the last time he saved…
Your question isn't exactly clear. But if you're asking how young Song Yi can exist 400 years in the past and also in modern times, that's simply a matter of two different people looking alike. The show (wisely) never spells out an exact explanation for why they're identical.

And no, she doesn't age.

So. True.
