Underrated???? NO! looool It had very high viewership ranking in the top 2 almost every episode, with the finale peaking at a colossal 27% viewership and was super dooper popular.
Well if you haven't seen S1, you'll not understand the depth of the animosity between Doctor Kim and Do Yoon Wan and why does he wanna destroy the clinic so badly. Also the constant mention of characters like Kang Dong Joo and Yoon Seo Jung will go over your head. Plus you'll be confused by Yang Se Jung's character's importance when he appears.
Problem with this drama was the zero chemistry between the FL and the guy she ends up with. The two MLs had more chemistry with each other than her and the SML, in fact the best moment in the show was between these two. The story itself was pretty badly done, the mystery was implemented really terribly. And my lord the CGI is abhorrent.
I just went to youtube and saw some clips from hit the top and genuinely liked eunwoo there ..Can some one say…
He was very wooden in two of his most popular dramas (Gangnam Beauty & True Beauty). He doesn't have a lot of range basically. He's not hated, but rather criticised for a reason. There are better actors who deserve these roles rather than an idol who is not that great of an actor and who's only hanging around 'cause of his popularity.
Oh thanks! I'll sure check it out and try to add in the next part if I make any :)
JBL is definitely very heavy and it may even look boring to someone who hasn't experienced any personal losses honestly. But it's one hell of a good drama if you truly see it for what is is i.e a portrayal of survivor's guilt and trauma. The romance is just a subplot in comparison.
"2020-2021 has been the best period for BLs NGL. We have had so many progressive shows that tackles these toxicity.…
Completely on point. Like I pointed out about the recent very racist scene in FUTS that the fans are now defending saying "It's not big of a deal" or "grow thick skin".
emotionally this was quite draining. The portrayal of what loss means, what guilt and anger means is very well…
Agree about everything except the ending. While yes, it was a tad too cheery, I wanted it to be cheery because after everything they went through they deserved a break and happiness. Realistic at the end? Probably not, but they deserved it.
There are some really nice lines in Just Between Lovers as well. It's the one drama that I found the most realistic in terms of dealing with survivor's guilt and loss.
Im at ep 15 and this was my opinion even though we know that shi meng is the one who can cured fang yan im a little…
Um no. He dug his own grave by playing alongwith it knowing he wasn't the one. And then used the misunderstanding to manipulate her. Since the beginning she was never romantically interested in him and esp around ep 10-11 onward her feelings for ML are clear as day.
Does the brother like the FL? Because I hate the "Brothers fall in love with the same girl" trope. If so, I'm…
Finally watched this and I agree with the comments below. It wasn't that good tbh, I ended up skipping a LOT of scenes that didn't involve the main lead interactions. They dragged on the SML being the treatment storyline for far too long as well. It prolongs for almost the whole drama in fact. Also yes, the SML was very unlikeable. They tried to cast him off as sympathetic character but he was not. His forgiveness came way too soon as well.
I made it easier for you. These are just some of them.
