Sorry but all I can say is that I love Kdramas (for about 10+ years now) but I really did not like this movie at all. I know it won awards, but I was so disgusted with the storyline. It does not portray the Kdramas that I love in any way. I really hope that people will not get the idea that this is what Kdramas are like.

My mom got so annoyed by all the crying too 🤣 even more than me
I was annoyed too. But that’s because the grandmother was so mean to say all those things to her—she’s just a little kinder gardener who believed what her father told her. He was just trying to be positive and say things that would make her happy and give her hope — like a lot of good parents do!

That’s interesting. I only thought the first two episodes were slow. It was hard for me not to binge-watch the rest of it!

I recommend watching the other dramas from the same writer, she's really amazing. Also Lost, My Mister and Misaeng…
It isn’t exactly slice of life, but “Mr. Sunshine” is still one of my favorite kdramas! I think it’s a must-watch!

I loved every minute of this drama. The first episode took a while to get going but after that everything was really good. Top lineup of actors—Loved the actors and the storyline. The ending was perfect. The OST was great too—I will try to buy it if I can find it. I will definitely recommend this to my friends and watch it again. I rated it 10/10.

I dong know why i liked this drama at all.. the only characters i liked were lee bona , myeong suk and chanyoung...…
Kim Tan is a wealthy, arrogant, spoiled brat in the beginning with no control over his life and she is a poor and embarrassed young girl trying to maintain her pride. Her acting was excellent throughout.

He obviously played his part really well. You were supposed to dislike him—a lot. And you did! That was his role and he did a perfect job! I don’t like his “character” either, but I love the actor!!

I watched t this drama (The Heirs—called The Inheritors on Netflix) when it first came out and I have been watching dramas for over 15 years now. I liked this drama then and I still like it now. I still give it a high rating. There were a couple of bully scenes but I’ve seen worse in other dramas. I thought all the actors were excellent and I’ve watched this several times. I highly recommend it and I cannot possibly understand any ratings under 8+. All I can say is watch it for yourself and see what you think. I, for one, will continue to watch it over and over. I love this drama!

Interesting drama. The actors did a good job. I especially love Kim Ji Won. The story was good although it felt a little disjointed in places. It’s not motivating to see so many people on a regular basis drinking and getting drunk, slurring their words, unable to think or walk straight. It’s almost like it was an expected way of life. I like the filming and the music was also good. I was really hoping they were going to develop a sports aspect of it with the long jump! It was a little hard to watch for me—super slow. And no wow ending like I was hoping there might be.

What’s wrong with her health?
I’m sure that the “Twiggy” types are much less healthy!

I started to watch “Hotel Del Luna” a couple of different times and then dropped it twice. It looked interesting but once I got to the ghosts I just wasn’t in the mood. I really hate zombies so I don’t watch those types of dramas. I have seen a couple of good ones in the past that I could handle but not usually. BUT then after seeing so many good comments, I decided to give it a try again. Once I got past the first couple of episodes, I was hooked. I loved almost everything about this drama. The lead actors were perfectly cast (really all the actors). Loved the outfits and costumes, the stories, the music —everything was done so well. I even think I might watch it again. If you’ve dropped it before, I recommend trying it once more. It really gets better and better to the end!

I didn't know IU before I watched this drama and I will still say I'm not one her fans. But she did a very good…
Sorry to disagree but I thought IU’s acting was excellent in this drama! I personally think it’s her best. I marveled in every episode how well she was doing!
Scarlet heart Ryeo was okay but I saw the original Chinese version first and I will never get over that one. Just amazing!! The Chinese “Scarlet Heart” (Bu Bu Jing Xin) version is still one of the top dramas of all time on my list.

is this worth watching?
I am so confused by all the comments. This drama was re-filmed? It sounds like one big mess! What happened? Why would they change the male lead half-way into the drama?

Me too..i love it but hate the ending
It’s just that it desperately needs a sequel! (I still watch it over again!) I am very surprised someone hasn’t found a way to create part two or just do the whole thing over again--with Lee Min Ho of course and I happen to love the actress, or a new one would be okay too if she wasn’t available (or someone who is very much like her!).

Noooo—I want to like this drama!! Now I’m afraid that it’s going to get totally messed up! Maybe they are trying to be creative, but it isn’t working. First of all there are two episode #1’s!
I just finished the first one, and I know it just doesn’t make sense that they would do that. At least number them 1a and 1b. Now I’m on the second number one episode but they have fast forwarded 19 years, which could be normal, but all the beginning scenes are like previews of the future and I’m starting to feel like this is a little Bizzarre. Which is too bad because I want to watch this!!! The music, characters and plot all seemed perfectly normal and great to start with. Then I checked the ratings and this is not looking good! It’s just such a bummer—who could ruin such a promising drama!?! I will post more later once I settle down from my frustration. In all my 10+ years of watching a wide variety of Asian dramas—which I love, I have never come across this situation. I guess I’ll just have to face the facts and drop it although I’ll try to keep going as far as possible! (:

nope. the original chinese version of moon lovers is Scarlet Heart https://kisskh.at/2969-scarlet-heart
The original Chinese version of Scarlet Heart (Bu Bu Jing Xin) is so amazing and will always have a special place in my heart. I first saw it several years ago and I can never stop thinking about it. It was so exceptional—the storyline, actors, cinematography, music—everything was breathtaking. (The two main leads even got married in real life after the drama was completed.)
