Loved every episode of this drama “Jun Jiu Ling.” Never a dull moment with an excellent story line. The actors were perfect! I will watch this again very soon and recommend to others. I rated this 10/10—I would rate it higher if I could.
I’m not sure how I missed this since 2017? it is way underrated! It hasn’t showed up in front of me until Netflix just now. I think maybe the name, “Revolutionary Love,” was not that descriptive. It was not just a rom-com although I laughed all the way through. I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this drama and the ending was good. I liked all the actors, especially the main character (the CEO’s 2nd son)—Byun Hyuk (Choi Siwon)! I will recommend this to my friends and definitely watch it again. And the theme of big business being honest and taking responsibility in this world was right on! I rated this 9 out of 10.
I have just started this drama, “Revolutionary Love.” it seems pretty cute and definitely is holding my attention, but I am sad to read some of the negative comments below. I was hoping for some thing really good all the way to the end. Oh well?!
One question I have is whether anyone else got the impression of Choi Siwon reminding them of Robin Williams? They may have added some of RW’s gestures on purpose, but I was definitely reminded of him! :)
I really like the actors in this drama. And even though the story is a bit predictable, I could be okay with it. But it is sooo slow. It’s driving me crazy! I am in the middle of episode eight and trying really hard not to drop it but I just don’t think I can keep going until episode 16. The background music is sooo slow and everything is so drawn out. It’s putting me to sleep. I am actually sorry, because I really wanted to watch this drama. Take care.
Hope Elena Ahn returns as Nunbyeol for the new season and has more screen time as well. I personally like SSK…
The original leads will never be replaced in my mind. If you can’t get the original actors, then just create a different drama and bypass all this controversy, because you know, people are going to want the original cast— especially if it has been successful.
I am shocked that my favorite actors (who made up the drama in my mind), are going to be completely changed. No wonder they are waiting so long to come out with season 2. I am thoroughly disappointed (even though I am sure the new actors are good). It will just be like a completely different show with some of the same background story. I am no longer excited or looking for this one to come out. I’ll just add it to my disappointments with Princess Agents and Tribes and Empires—to name only a couple. I’ve just decided that Asian dramas are like that and obviously there isn’t much you can do about it.
Few months ago, I dropped this at episode 4 or something...is it worth picking up back?
Absolutely a must-watch! I didn’t care a lot for the first few episodes when she was really young and too full of herself, but the characters definitely mature!
Does anyone have more dramas with master x disciple relationship to recommend? Thx
One of my all-time favorites is “Scarlet Heart“—the Chinese version. Also called “Bu Bu Jing Xin.” There are 2 parts/seasons, but unfortunately the second part was not very well done. (Don’t even think about watching it, but you will want to unfortunately.) BUT the first part can stand alone Forever! I rewatch this one at least once a year if not more. The actors and cinematography, as well as the storyline and music, are truly amazing! It won several awards. A Must-Watch!!
Great drama. Worth watching again even though it is 48 episodes. It almost seems short because you just want to keep going after every episode and even at the end. Loved all the actors (especially the emporer, Louling and Haishi), the music and great storyline. If you are wondering about watching it, just start— you won’t stop.
This drama had interesting moments. It took me at least three tries just to start it, but after you get past episode one or two, it starts getting better. Sometimes it is hard to follow, and I have to replay to see if I missed something. The actors were good and charming, but the storyline of parallel universes and double faces can be hard to keep up with. I did love Court Lady Noh—she is the best in all her dramas. I hope they take extra care of her on the filming set. I would like to see these actors together in another drama. I really love period pieces with the current dress and customs. They are so intriguing.
THIS IS THE SECOND BEST HISTORICAL KOREAN DRAMA FOR ME AFTER MR QUEEN EXCEPT FOR THE FEMALE LEAD AND THE ROMANCE…
I haven’t watched this one yet, but from your comments, I think I’ll give it a try. I’m always looking for good historical dramas and I’ve seen so many that it’s hard to find something new that will knock your socks off.—haha. Anyway, I totally agree with you regarding “Mr. Queen.” I thought that it was one of the best historical dramas I’ve seen! Now if they would just hurry up and come out with the sequel to Arthdal Chronicles. It’s killing me to wait—that is really an excellent historical drama!
Really great show about real things we deal with in life. I loved all the actors and especially the dads! It was mostly very upbeat and well-thought out — I looked forward to every episode. I would like to mention two things to consider. I thought the ending was really cute, but I did not like all the credits that were being shown at the same time (in Viki)—it was very distracting. Also I thought the music was very well done, but I would prefer no lyrics onscreen because it became very confusing while I was trying to process my own thoughts and conclusions and the lyrics were sometimes different. Overall “Go Ahead” is a great drama and I highly recommend watching it!
Good story. Good ending. Actors were good—especially the main leads and the supporting actors were interesting also! Never bored—Held my interested till the very end.

It is what it is. But you can’t force people to forget a favorite cast after the love and imagination has developed.
