why did they even think about casting eunkyung in this ? ruined the whole show and im sorry to say this but she…
I absolutely loved this drama (Tomorrow's Cantabile) and Shim Eun Kyung. I really can't imagine what you have against her. I think she is an excellent actor. So far, I have loved every drama she is in, including "Miss Granny" which was fabulous. I guess people will just have to judge for themselves, but I personally highly recommend watching both of these. I give her and the drama/movie 10 stars out of 10--which is not very often!
I am confused should i watch tunnel or stranger or defendant ..any recommendation?!
I have not watched Stanger or Tunnel, but I thought Defendant was one of the best dramas I’ve watched in 2017. The actors and plot are excellent and I highly recommend it!
I kind of liked the storyline. Pretty much held my interest just to see what would happen in the end, although it was very predictable and definitely not realistic at all. I'm not sure if I would make the effort to watch season 2. Maybe. I rated this 7.5
I just have to say that I am so surprised by a comment in the review above. I liked "Princess Agents" so much (even though there were some bad characters (like the crazed old man that no one put a stop to)). But overall it really was a well-written and directed drama. The love story is amazing and the acting is excellent. It's now one of my favorite dramas and I can't wait for the sequel!
There are a mix of comments for "The Eternal Love," but I'm going to give it a try because people's tastes vary a lot and many things can affect a comment (such as your mood, or what you just watched, whether you're tired or happy, etc.).
Had the same thing with Descendants of the Sun dropped it because I really didn't like it after 4 episodes.
I’m sorry to hear you felt that way. Mostly because I really liked “Descendants of the Sun.” It makes me wonder what it was in episode 4 that would make you want to drop it? It may have been a bit over-rated, but it was still really good—you may want to think about trying it again. (: The cinematography, actors, and the plot were all excellent! Actually, although I haven’t watched it again yet, I have been thinking about it recently. Now that you mention it, I’ll probably re-watch it again this week. Take care! PS The drama that I always felt was way overrated was “You Who Came from the Stars.” The storyline was pretty good and I liked the male lead, but the female lead character was so egotistic that it was hard to watch. (I guess we all have our different pet peeves.)
its really simple, you use adblock and learn how to go around scummy advertising if you want to watch things illegally,…
Thanks for your reply mehtron. I don’t know about Adblock. Can you use it on iPhone or Samsung? You’re The first person I know who ever said kissasian is a good website. I tried it a couple of years ago but got so frustrated with ads that I finally stopped using it—then I heard that it was shut down officially. They seemed to have good screen resolution at the time—I don’t know why they can’t become legitimate—I would pay for a subscription without ads. Why did dramacool change its name and what is it? Is it the same as dramanice? Thanks.
Empress Ki was not on any of the sites listed here!
Something is obviously very wrong here! Who are you “people” recommending fake web addresses that have disgusting advertising and never connect to the dramas?!
Hi! I have watched most of these dramas and agree with many of your comments (:
But there is something that has been bugging me for so long—I have to ask! It’s about the websites used to watch these dramas. The only legitimate websites I have found so far are Dramafever and Viki. I subscribe to both (although I may drop Viki since they have raised their prices so high and they don’t have all the dramas—like Empress Ki, which I wanted to re-watch again).
“People” often suggest other places to view a drama but they are always fake (I’m assuming the responder must be fake as well as the websites)!
I don’t get it! Something is very wrong here!
kissasian and dramacool appear to be websites with a lot of scummy advertising and you can never actually get to the drama you’re interested in even if you try to ignore the advertising and close all the tricky pop-up windows. Every time you click on something, a message says it has moved and then takes you to more scummy advertising. It lists a lot of different dramas but none of them are real—just more pop-ups. It makes me wonder who It is recommending these fake sites. They obviously must have fake identities also.
Does anyone know what the real story is about these and other fake websites ?
I would love to see “mydramalist” do a feature exposé article on this topic. I’m so tired of it—now it’s hard to trust anyone, and it makes me so disappointed because I love Asian dramas. Thanks.
I loved Weightlifting Fairy -- I thought it was really good and watched it all the way through without losing…
To me, “Weightlifting Fairy...” wasn’t anything like “Strong woman...” at all. That’s too bad, because after watching “Weightlifting Fairy...” I was really hoping for another somewhat similar drama—but it wasn’t even close! ):
I think Weightlifting Fairy and The Bride of H are the worst dramas by far.
I really did not like The Bride of Haebaek --so emotionless, but it did like Weightlifting Fairy. I wasn't sure if I would like it at first, but it was so cute!
i dropped all of them except strong woman, as for the empress ki don't even think about not watching it just because…
After all these good recommendations for Empress Ki, I'm really feeling like I need to watch it again! (: But it's not on Dramafever or Viki so I have to find a good site to watch it on. Maybe it's on youtube?
I'm honestly getting bored with all of these "articles" where people list all the dramas they dropped or the dramas…
I love reading all the different comments about dramas and movies. I don't always agree, but it's okay to hear different opinions and I often read comments that inspire me to try out something I may not have otherwise. It's all good.
Hi. Thanks for your honest feelings. I agree with at least a few of the dramas you reviewed. I started watching "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" and "While You Were Sleeping," but I could not keep going. "Fight My Way" and "Suspicious Partner" was okay--I loved the actors-- but the last few episodes kept getting slower and slower. I dropped "Bride of Haebaek" somewhere in the middle and tried to start "Mad Dog," but didn't even finish the first episode. I know--I usually try to get through a few more episodes to at least give the drama a chance, but I realize that it seems to be getting harder these days. Maybe, similar to yourself, I have watched too many dramas over the last several years and my tolerance is getting lower since I want to watch only the best of the best! Anyway, I love most of the Asian dramas and have many favorites. I would definitely recommend "Empress Ki" and I could add many to the "historical" drama list. I recently finished "Princess Agents" (now a definite Favorite--watched it twice) and now I feel so lost trying to find something that can compare! A few other favorites you may want to see are... "Bu Bu Jing Xin" (original "Scarlet Heart"--Chinese version--first drama was great, skip the sequel), "Prince of Lan Ling", and one of my favorite outstanding movies (two parts) is "Red Cliff" 1 & 2 by director Jon Woo--sooo amazing (hang in there the first 15 minutes though). Anyway, happy drama watching and I look forward to more of your comments (: Take care.
I just started this drama--on episode 2 now. I love the actors, but I'm going crazy because it is sooo slow. Is the pace going to pick up? because i don't know if I can continue at this slow pace.
I saw this movie sometime last year and absolutely loved it. I think mydramalist lost some of my reviews when they switched to their new system (which I hate all the advertising--sorry, but I really do)! This drama is on my favorites list so my recommendation is to be sure to watch it! I will watch it again for sure.

I just tried it again and still cannot access any drama.
Do you have some type of subscription?
Thank you ????
