I only stumbled across thi series because I just finished Princess Agents and wanted to see more of Kenny Lin…
I'm looking for my next series after Princess Agents and I can't imagine ever finding a drama as good as that one. I really miss it ):

Darn :( Viki stopped subbing at episode 21, no hope of them finishing this series :((((
It's so frustrating to start watching a series and then have to stop midway through because it wasn't subbed. Why even display it as having subs before they are all finished? It doesn't make sense. It only creates bad feelings.

Title I Am Legend
I really liked this drama. I'm not sure how I found this, but I'm so glad I did. It was really enjoyable to watch all the way through to the end. I would have liked a little more romance especially at the end, but it was a good ending. All the music pieces in this drama were really great. The American background music clips were perfect for every situation, and I really liked the Korean theme music and songs (l hope I can find the songs online). The actors were excellent and so cute! I feel this drama was underrated—I’m giving it an 8.5 and going to check for more information on the actors.

I would shoot myself if Ling and Qing Chen didn't get to be together in the end. Plus they need to become a real…
Nicky Wu is an excellent actor. And who cares how old he is?! Its the personality that counts whether you're 20 or 100. I don't know how old you are, but hopefully life will reveal a few truths along the way as you mature. Have you seen "Bu Bu Jing Xin" (Scarlet Heart 1--Chinese version)? That drama had amazing chemistry all over the place--especially between Liu Shi Shi and Nicky Wu. Everyone was so happy to hear they got married!

It only builds up once they introduced Yuan Zhan (love triangle!!) lol. I agree, after watching Eternal Love it's…
I love Cecilia Liu and Chinese historical dramas in general. I have only watched the first few episodes of "Lost Love in Times" but I am not feeling the chemistry at all between Cecilia and William--he seems so stiff and expressionless. Right now I do not feel motivated to continue this story, but I will probably try again at some point.
I did enjoy "Eternal Love (10 Miles of Peach Blossoms)" although wuxia isn't generally one of my favorite genres, but I needed to watch something on the "historical side" and it was pretty good. If you are looking for one of the best historical Cdramas ever, you must watch "***Princess Agents***." The first episode was hard to get through (because of the content, not the acting), but I continued watching to the end (58 episodes), then immediately watched it all again because I missed it so much. Actually, I want to watch it one more time but that would be three times and it seems so non-sensical to do that except that I can't find anything to compare that I haven't already watched (--talk about an epic romance drama--it has everything)! (: Obviously, "Princess Agents" is now at the top of my favorites list.
Other Cdramas you may like if you haven't already seen them, are "Bu Bu Jing Xin"(Scarlett Heart 1)--the original Chinese version, and "Prince of Lan Ling." Also, watch the Chinese movie "Red Cliff" Parts 1 and 2 -- so amazing! Take care and enjoy!

I just finished my second time through this drama series. Best drama ever! It's like we just saw 58 episodes of a preview for what's to come. I really hope they can maintain the momentum and give us at least another 58 episodes as good as or better than the first 58. It's a bummer though that we have to wait so long (maybe we'll get lucky and they have already filmed Part 2?). I don't mind sequels, but not when they just leave you hanging at the very end--some sense of closure would have been nice. I would give this a rating of 20 stars out of 10 if I could! --Best actors, cinematography and directing!!

Well the subber was uploading on YT, so probably copyright problems?
Well it doesn’t quite make sense though since I was watching it on viki.com and they should be licensed. I was thinking about why this might happen. Also it doesn’t make sense to me that these companies charge money for their services to customers but they don’t seem to pay their translators. Why not? It’s business and it would also be more reliable.

I am preparing myself for a crazy/boring mid to a disappointing ending like Princess Agents lol
Be careful of the spoilers please (:
I absolutely love "Princess Agents" --One of the BEST dramas ever!
Does anyone know if this one ("Nothing Gold Can Stay") has been subbed in English anywhere? Thank you.

I love this article because I can totally relate (even though I quite disagree with your list but it's the…
I pretty much agree with all the dramas you list here that you didn't really care for, except I did like "Moonlight Drawn By the Clouds"--the lead male is just too cute. Also Goblin seemed fairly unique and I liked the ghost characters although it did tend to drag in some places.

I don't like k-dramas.
I love Kdramas sooo much (as well as Jdramas and Cdramas). In each language/style some are amazing and some not so much. But I can give you a list off the top of my head of 5-10 excellent Kdramas and Cdramas you just might love. (smile)

I have seen the Kdrama version and it is one of my favorites! I was reading through some of these comments to see if I should try the Japanese version and I noticed several of the comments have revealing statements. Please don't ruin it for other people and be sure to mark your comments as spoilers. Thanks.

Person So Ji Sub
One of my favorite dramas is "I'm Sorry, I Love You." It should be rated much higher than it is! You're a great actor, So Ji Sub, and I hope you do another drama/movie soon. Miss you. Take care.

This drama started out pretty good, but now it seems a bit disjointed, wandering and boring. I agree with the comments about spy school and dressing in vogue style (lead actress is the only one). It just seems a little unrealistic and I'm feeling like dropping it (I just finished episode 12). Maybe I'll pick it up again later.
It could be that I just finished watching "Princess Agents" on youtube and that was so amazing--nothing can compare to it! I might just watch that one again.

Can someone please update me... Is there season 2 or just a romour? I read somewhere that season 2 is in production…
With that ending (which is Ep 58, not 67), a second season has to be in the works already--PLEASE--Thank you...

The violin solo in episodes 55 and 56 (may be in other episodes also) is enchanting and so perfect. Does anyone know the name of the music piece and who the violinist is (scenes with the Wei princess)? Thank you.

Also, kisskh shows that there are 67 episodes for the drama at 45 minutes each, but I can only find up to 58 episodes. Does it end there? Thanks.

So far, this is an excellent drama with great actors, music and storyline.
I rate it a 9.5 out of 10 up to this point.
