I really do like the actors and I'm glad so many people are enjoying this drama, btbh (but to be honest), it is a little too draggy and slapstick for me. I appreciate the humor but it would be nice if it were a little more realistic. The topics about corporate business seem to be common but I'm just starting episode 10 and it's hard keeping an interest in this. Maybe I just need to leave it and come back to it another time when I'm in a different frame of mind. I really want to like it--so it's probably worth giving it another try later.

Thanks for the comments on streaming sites. I'll try Drama Nice and Drama Cool, but I've tried kissasian sooo many times and I finally just gave up! There are so many junk ads that you can't help accidentally touching while you navigate the screen and it always drops in the middle of the drama. It's so frustrating.

I would look for this movie somewhere else if possible. I keep trying to watch things here but kissasian is so disusting with all it's gross advertisements and if you make the tiniest mistake (or not) and accidentally click on the wrong area, you will get even more pop ups and terrible ads, and also the web site will quit working in the middle of the film/drama! It's just not worth the trouble--believe me I've tried so many times to give them another chance! I've finally given up!

This movie is so well done--and with good music. (I rated it 9.5/10) The actors were excellent and I so appreciated being able to know more about the history of Korea and seeing pictures of real people from that era--which was not so long ago. I would love to see more films like this.
Although I really appreciate the movie, I would love to see these same actors in a much longer drama series covering more detail about the last of the Royal family of Korea. Thank you and take care.

IDK, I would think that if producers really wanted their dramas to be noticed/successful and bring in more $, that they would hire their own translators/subbers and release all language versions on the same date. There must be a reason...

I have tried so many time to watch this movie on kissasian and it's IMPOSSIBLE! They have so many ads and pop-ups! I have to start, stop, quit, start over again. It's so frustrating, I have just given up on that website. It's so grungy anyway!!!

There is something wrong here. How can Liam Neeson be in this movie and there is no cast info for him! There are no Reviews, and no Recommendations. And only 123 views. There seems to be and elephant in the room that I don't know about!

I'm disappointed not to watch this. I probably will not watch this due to so many negative comments, but I love Jang Hyuk (Slave Hunter, etc.) in a romantic comedy/historical drama and would love to see him in as many as possible!!

I put off watching this drama because of several negative comments, but tbh--this was a really good drama! I'm so glad I watched it finally. The first episode, I was put off a bit by what seemed like current-day gangs/rebels and Disney-like music, but it started settling into the story and characters and it just got better--with a perfect ending. It wasn't a traditional historical drama (some of my favorites of all time) and had a few minor plot holes as well as modern music which didn't quite fit sometimes. The actors were all great and this is a drama I could watch again. I rated it 8.5 out of 10. (I even thought it was better than "Scarlet Heart (Ryeo)" although I have to admit I am a bit biased because it was impossible to beat the Chinese original ("Bu Bu Jing Xin" A+) for that one.) If you're looking for your next drama to watch, don't wait. I would start right now! Enjoy and take care.

I have mixed feelings! I really want to watch this drama to the end--I even believe, as one member commented, that it will be a good ending. It's just that it is soooo slow! I don't even usually mind slow--a little bit. I'm on episode 7. The storyline is good and I like the actors. Maybe it's the music which is very slow, a bit odd and I'm sorry to say just doesn't add anything to this drama. There seem to be quite a few good reviews though, and if I could just put this on double time or 2x speed...I really am making a conscious effort to stick to the pace of this drama and not switch to something else. Maybe it will be worth it if I make it that far--I hate giving up in the middle of something. Perhaps if the music was faster, it would at least "feel" like it was moving a bit faster. I like a touch of suspense but that's not what the issue is here.

Cute and simple. Liked it but not a complicated plot. Actors were cute. Nice story with piano/violin playing. Cute and touching. Rated it an 8.0

Very sinister. I don't need this in my life. Obviously didn't care for it. I have many lesbian friends (male and female), but this is way too dark and not something I want in my life. Also very sadistic. Just because something has effective plot twists does not make it beautiful or meaningful. It's just kind of gross and depraved.

Good movie!! Really Good time travel story. One of the best I've seen. Good ending! Could watch again. I rated it 9 out of 10.

Tried to watch in three different places--Viki, Kissasian (not my favorite but usually good picture quality) and YouTube. The picture quality was very poor on all of them so that really made it a struggle to watch all of the episodes. I really liked the lead couple and second couple. Storyline was pretty good; could have used a little more development. I liked the ending except for the last 1 minute. I rated it 8 out of 10.

Why would you want to "tough it out" to watch any drama? If it's that bad, don't watch it. I almost made it to the end of the first episode. The gay guys were cute. Some of the other stuff was kind of funny, but somewhat boring. I think I'd rather watch another drama with people who have some principles, a bit of adventure and a meaningful purpose in life. Sadly the alternative title to this drama "Raunchy" seems to fit very well. I don't equate the word "raunchy" with humorous. There may be better episodes in this drama, but I found it hard to get to the end of the first one--it seemed to be going nowhere. Take care.

I loved this drama! It is now one of my favorites. The storyline was so interesting and the characters, cinematography and acting were excellent. It is the perfect love story with the portrayal and development of moral character and heartfelt love, in all aspects, throughout the story to the very end. I am very surprised that more people have not watched this so far--maybe it's the number of episodes, but I wish it were longer, although I did feel satisfied the way and where it ended. This drama is worth watching every minute and I will watch it again. I recommend watching right now if you are searching for something new and amazing. It is very beautiful, poetic, and enduring with plenty of action and intrigue. Also, the OST is really good--hope I can find it online. I rated "Saimdang" 9.5 out of 10.
