This was a very good drama. The actors were good and the male and female leads were very compatible. I like the storyline and there was a lot of action throughout the drama. I rated this 8.5 and I'm sure I'll watch it again. ( I did skip the second "Epusode 1"-- it is strange they did that. I have no idea why, but thanks for the heads up. I hate spoilers!)

“Mr. Sunshine” will forever be one of my favorite dramas. I think the name is really misleading (as are many of the Asian drama titles). I highly recommend watching “Mr Sunshine” if you like romance and intrigue.👌
That’s an interesting comment. Bu Bu Jin Xin (Scarlet Heart—Chinese version) has always been my favorite number one drama. I guess that means I’ll have to try this one! Thanks.
I just found this today (February 10, 2025) on Netflix. I am really hopeful because I saw Naeile Cantabile (Korean version) several years ago and fell in love with it. The actors, music and comedy were hilarious and fun. It seems that the Japanese version was created from an anime show and I’ve noticed some of the comments below. But I’m going to give it a try anyway since the ratings seem fairly good. Which is also interesting because as much as I like the Korean version, I noticed that the ratings weren’t that high. ??
Very well-done drama. It was interesting every minute. Never slow or boring. Good story all the way through with every group/couple/situation. I initially watched thisfor the main actress, Jung So Min. I really enjoyed this series and the ending was great—not just predictable but satisfying, not cliche. I rated this 8.5

Although the bullying part of the “Heirs” drama was hard to watch in the beginning, it turns out good in the end. I rewatch this at least once a year. The actors are very popular—and good!

I just finished my third time re-watching both seasons. Yes I think season one was the best, but season two wasn’t that bad. I am sure at some point. I’ll watch them both again. 👍
I haven’t watched this yet, but I’m going to give it a try. I’m so disappointed that the female lead in the first season is changed from Jung So Min. She was so perfect for the role and did an amazing job with the other main leads. I hope I can see her in other dramas that are just as good as the first one! Why do they change the leads in sequels of popular dramas?
is anyone else struggling to watch this on Netflix? The cinematography is not very clear. The subtitles display really fast and I haven’t found a way to slow them down a bit. I tried to pause with the controller, but the title displays in large letters, so I can’t read the subtitles behind it. I really wanted to watch this because Zhao Lu Si it’s one of my favorite actors and I hate to give this up. Maybe I will try again later on another service if not Netflix. :(
I just ran across this again and I’m feeling like watching the series again. It was so amazing and I love the actors. It’s such a shame that this drama is not being shown on more channels. Because I’m sure it would be so popular! I just checked and it’s still on (HBO) MAX. I really wish Netflix or Viki could pick it up, but I’m sure there’s something preventing them from doing that. Anyway, I am going to watch it again and if there’s anyway you can find it on another channel or sign up for a trial of HBO Max, I highly recommend watching it. I’ve done something that I seldom do, and that is to watch part of a drama before it is complete. But I wanted to get a sense of this and I watched the first four episodes. It is quite humorous and slapstick but well done. Although this is not usually my type of drama, I am finding it quite interesting/amusing and want to keep going. We’ll see how it goes.
