I love Scarlet Heart so much— It is still one of my all-time favorites and so underrated. Although I have always hoped that they would remake season two.— Maybe one of these days, who knows? It really is that great.

Most of the Princes are so handsome! The hairstyle doesn’t put me off at all. It’s just what they wore during that time. It doesn’t distract from anything for me. 🥰

there seems to be a lot of controversy about this drama. I’m just going to give you my honest reaction as I watched. I really liked all of the actors and I liked a lot of different parts of the drama. But I found myself wanting to fast-forward (which I never do) because it seemed like she went back in time too often. At some point I just wanted everything to move on. I also thought the villain was very blah and nondescript. I love the way the drama started out the first couple of episodes and I really liked the last few episodes. But somehow I really felt like I was forcing myself to get through the middle part. I was thinking that this drama could have been condensed to at least 12 episodes or less.

One last thing I have to mention, I am so disappointed that viki is still ruining the last scenes of the last episode by splashing the subtitle credits across the screen before the drama is even finished. It is very distracting. I do not understand why they can’t do that after the end of the last episode. I guess this is my biggest pet peeve about watching dramas on Viki. It just doesn’t make sense.

I couldn’t be satisfied with the ending either. I agree— What really happened?!

Everything was excellent. Top actors, storyline, music. Definitely recommend and will watch again. Loved every minute.

Why isn’t viki showing all 40 episodes since it is past the final date of June 22 showing in my drama list?

The actors in this drama are so cute. But this drama is putting me to sleep and I’m only on the third episode. Sorry, I know it has high ratings, but I can barely stay awake. and the music is not helping. 😴

I really hope they put it out on other platforms soon. It is too good to pass up! Maybe that is why there are so few viewers?!

There are a total of 40 episodes on (hbo)MAX. it was a definite ending, so I’m not sure where the 45 episode idea ever came from.

Just finished this and it was an excellent drama in all aspects. Good ending for a war story. I would definitely watch again. It should have a much higher rating and where are all the viewers? I gave it 10 out of 10 for really good actors, story, music and production. I would like to watch another one as good as this. (FYI, I had no problems accessing this on HBO MAX and the subtitles were perfect— not too, rushed and easy to read and understand.) If you’re trying to decide on whether to watch this, I would absolutely try it and if you don’t like it right away, you can always stop, but I have a feeling most people are going to love it.

I am currently watching this on HBO Max (U.S.) fully subbed with English subtitles. I am on episode 15 and really loving the storyline and all the characters. The actors and costumes are beautiful and so far, I am excited for each new episode. Looking at other reviews on this page, it seems like there may have been problems on HBO Max with subtitles, but it seems perfectly fine so far so maybe those issues have been corrected. I am totally shocked that there aren’t more viewers, and much better ratings. I will add comments as I get further into the drama (“Legacy”).

I just finished watching ”Blossoms In Adversity” with Zhang Jing Yi and it is amazing! I am already re-watching it. You should check it out if you haven’t already. 10/10

I know this is highly rated, but I just started watching it and I can’t stand that the male lead is so arrogant and never says anything.!

Good drama with realistic relationships and situations. Main leads had good chemistry. The Actors all did a great job and I liked the range of family involvement from the younger siblings to the grandparents and friends. There were some very sad moments, but overcome by good moments. Definitely worth watching and I would watch again. I rated this drama (“Will Love In Spring”) 8.5.
PS watch past the credits of last episode for a little added surprise ending.

I really don’t understand some of these negative comments. I thought the male lead was perfect and amazing— Seriously! And that definitely includes the female lead! I really love this drama overall. I’ve added it to my list of favorites and I know I’m going to be re-watching this one—More than once. I rated “Blossoms In Adversity” 10 /10.

Awesome drama! “Winter Begonia” is such an intriguing and fascinating drama. I am so impressed! I learned so much about that era in China (1930’s) and about Chinese (Peking) Opera that I would never have expected to like before. Such a surprise with a great storyline, actors and directing. I already miss this drama and I have started to rewatch again! 👍

While the two main male leads definitely develop a very strong friendship, they become true soulmates and there was never any (b)romance between them (although you wonder sometimes)—only great respect and strong brotherly affection. I have added “Winter Begonia” to my list of Favorite dramas and I have already started rewatching it again.
