This was a good show. I like the Actors and the storyline was good. It was a little disjointed in some places, but not bad. Worst of all was the very abrupt ending. it didn’t help that I watched it on Viki and again they splashed credits across the screen on a very short ending, so it really interrupted the finale. I’ll let you decide if you think it’s good or not. I Rated it. At 8.5. Maybe more if the ending wasn’t so short.
Just completed it. I actually quite enjoy the ride. Not super serious or heavy. Enough touch and flow. Not perfect.…
Thanks for your review. I’ll try this. A new one with the same female lead (Wu Jin Yan—she is awesome) that you might like is “Kill Me, Love Me.” I have binged the first seven episodes and really enjoying it.
Just finish this. It was good.! There were a couple of episodes that were a little slow, but not that bad. I would recommend watching it. I rated it 8.5.
I really enjoyed this drama with excellent actors and storyline. It was very entertaining with good chemistry between the different relationships and just the right amount of comedy. I will watch again. I rated it 9.0/10
I rewatched season 1 (2023) again and then watched season 2 which just came out two months ago in July. I still think this is a great drama and the sequel was very well done. I love all the actors! I will watch both seasons again in the future. I do not understand why the rating was lower on the second one. I gave them both a rating of 9.0. PS In my opinion, I really do think you need to watch season one in order for season two to make more sense.
Does this have any excitement further into the story? I’ve watched about 10 episodes and now I’m starting to feel bored. I really like the actors, but nothing is happening. And I do have to say the age difference between the doctor and the 18 year old FL is a little bothersome. It just seems like they have nothing in common and there’s no drama or adventure in this Story— So far anyway. I mostly watched this because of the music theme, but it’s also a little far-fetched that you have a busy Doctor who is also able to be a popular star singer. Can anyone tell me if it gets better before the end? Thank you.
This drama is so unique and creative. I loved it the first time I watched it, and I would watch it again if it was on a station I could access. So many good actors and different facets of this show. I seriously think it is really underrated. I gave it a definite 10—flaws and all!
I find that Asian drama titles are often somewhat misleading, as was this one. i love most rom-coms and this was even more satisfying with intrigue and action. . All the relationships were vey good and well worth watching to the end. I really liked all the actors and the characters they played. I am surprised at the ratings— I would give it much higher— at least 9.0! I highly recommended it and I will watch again.
Missing Crown, Prince is really a good drama, and I am very surprised at the low mdl rating. It really doesn’t make any sense. Maybe the fighting scenes weren’t that detailed but they were good enough and I thought the story and the actors were very good. The ending had a little bit of everything from drama to humor, and I especially liked the surprise ending part with everyone— You will know what I mean! I usually have to get past the first episode or two before I really get into a drama but after that, I think you’ll find that it’s a worthy drama. You should watch it now and find out for yourself. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Enjoy.
I am on episode eight and although I’m really liking all the characters, it is driving me crazy that Shen Shen is so meek. Isn’t she graduating from college? She just seems like a little kid compared to him, so it doesn’t quite fit. I’m just trying to figure out what could possibly be in the remaining 25 episodes—Unless there is some surprise drama to really keep my interest. I do like the two leads and the other actors, but it seems like something Interesting has to happen in their lives. I guess I’m just starting to get bored a little and I’m only a quarter of the way through. I guess we’ll see how the story develops and how long I can hold out. (I do like their music though, and the recipes are interesting.)
I am so surprised that this drama shows such a high rating but there are so many negative comments. ??? it makes me not want to watch it along with the fact that I really don’t like zombies in shows—sorry but they just seem really stupid.
This was a very good and funny historical drama. every episode kept my attention. although it was very comedic, it also had episodes of adventure and danger. It had a targeted message in the end, which is very relevant even today. I would definitely recommend this drama and for people who don’t like so many episodes, I always say you’re going to be watching something anyway, so why not? It’s worth it!
should I watch this? I hate to cry during dramas. Reading the comments, many people seem to be crying a lot, especially in the last three episodes of this drama. Does that mean it’s not a good ending or super sad and disappointing?
It took a couple of episodes to really get into the drama since it was pretty slapstick and cartoonish. But then I realized that I really liked all the actors and characters and it seemed that the plot might be going somewhere good. I ended up binge watching (to episode 7) into the early morning until I could no longer stay awake! I will watch again with friends. It is very funny and has a good ending.
I rated it 8.5.
Another favorite but very dramatic is “The Double” — It will keep you on the edge of your seat—I rated it 10.0!
I’m wondering the same thing as you. What can I watch next that is similar without being let down? Is it possible? Ha!
