Unheard of LXY brother, was a bit out there. But what if it belongs to LXY. That's a theory i can get behind. He was very young, the likelihood of him not remembering that litle detail, totally plausible.

In the post, it was said LXY is actually the descendant of Nanyin royalty. LYX and his real brother who later died ended up on the street. SGD took the NY pendant from LXY's brother and believed he is the true NY descendant. That SGD succeeded in obtaining the karmic bug. But failed to activate it because it needed royal blood to do so. Meaning LXY's blood.
I mean, it makes sense to some extent, why the LXY background story was briefly shown, but not of SGD.

FDB's journey has been true to his character.
When we were first introduced to him, he wants to join the court badly he covered up his identity as a young master. Yet, he had his servant and maid follow him around. It wasn't because he was a pampered young master (A pampered young master would not know how to cook). But he felt responsible for his servant and his maid, so he kept them around. He sent his maid back after his servant was killed. The first sign of growing up.
In the first case, he just listens in to LLH solving the mystery. Chiming in very little of his deduction. Learning from a master. That's why he insists on following LLH. He wants to learn from the best.
Meeting DFS for the first time. Not knowing who he is, but his instinct can sense something dark about DFS. But he trusted LLH, so he reluctantly accept DFS, even tho his suspicion continues.
How he interact with DFS after he lost his memory. He tries to gauge his reaction, and when DFS answer "i will kill him", he tries to persuade him to the right side. That killing shouldn't be the answer to everything π€£π€£π€£.
But what I like the most is his recent development. He is now a skilled investigator. He can see things are not always what it seems. Even tho he heard about his dad's armory, and LXY possibly killed him from an independent source. He uses his instinct and his deduction that there must be more to it.
When LLH turns out to be LXY. FDB of course can't believe LLH's explanation, he has no reason to, he was upset. Believing LLH blindly would be out of character as FDB is no longer that rookie boy. He needed some time to accept that there could be another explanation. But he made it clear to LLH. He needs more proof and answers before he can believe him again.
As LLH's condition deteriorates, FDB realizes, LLH has nothing to hide, no hidden agenda. He only has months to live, or now a month to live.
His instinct was right, to begin with. All the tricks and lies were not intended to fool him, but because LLH himself is still seeking answers.
FDB is good person, shout out to his good prarenting. He wants to help people. He doesnt hold grudges. Like when LLH told him he should save DFS. He grumble a bit but immediately save DFS. He says what he thinks.
He also in the end realizes that protecting LLH matters more than his precious detective placard. He threw it off without a moment of hesitation. He will not partake in turning LLH into a wanted criminal.

I am less excited about LYF. Not about the drama itself. But because of the long wait for season 2. I stopped watching after ep 10. Will rewatch when sea 2 completed
We need to enjoy the journey. Not rushed towards the end.
I am conflicted too, i want the last ep too, so we can find out about the end to the mystery. Yet dreading it, cuz i will definitely have witdrawal symptoms, a bad one at it.
There's a possibility the trio will end up together again. It would be towards the end. With JY sect gone, DFS will be free to roam the world with LLH and FDB to find a cure for LLH. But i suppose we wont get to see it.
He definitely remembers everything. He pretended to lost his memory to fool JQ. Trailer ep 31 JQ tried to topple DFS, but we see a bit later how JQ was wounded an imprisoned. Obviously her attemp to take over the sect failed.
I dont think he ever hates FDB. They have these cute rivalry over LLH.
Trio reunite, like before, we may not get it again.
DFS will play his part, but likely as the sect leader. To tackle enemy within his own sect. To pretend to cooperate with wansheng sect, to get in their plan and stopped SGD from finding the insect. They will be working together but separately.
