For one, he doesnt seem particularly comfortable with romance roles. Or they dont think he’s good at them.
For two, he’s been involved in a few events that don’t exactly make him the most well-received…
When compared to Foei who is also involved in several of the same events, White doesnt seem to have the same popularity and/or match the GMMTV/Thai major character appearance
But now he is a freelance actor, no longer tied to GMMTV. And he did graduate in marketing, and his socials appear to be more in the influencer/modeling vein than acting - so that might be more of his focus rn.
can someone explain to me what's happening? I've been waiting to watch this but some people here sat that it's…
When putting up the GMM25 (the tv channel in which GMMTV's timeslot exists) Airing Schedule for February, 23.5 was shown to start airing. However, shortly after, the GMMTV Starlympics televised event program replaced it. Leading to the conclusion that 23.5 has been postponed for some unknown reason.
One possibility: It was a mistake. Neither GMMTV nor the 23.5 socials announced an airing date. We only know February because of an interview/live a few weeks (maybe even months, i dont remember) ago. But even then, no date. So it's possible someone made an error when putting up that calendar.
Another possibility: In the face of all of the artists leaving GMMTV and several new faces joining, GMMTV thinks that putting a reality/event program to promote their artists and ships in one of their most popular/prized days of the week would be a better choice right now. Especially before we get into the 2024 releases. And then forgot to update GMM25 with this decision.
I can just about guarantee it's NOT: 23.5 being cancelled or shelved. It would make no sense. Not just from a popularity standpoint, but from an industry one as well. GMMTV took so long to get a/this GL out there, theyre behind. So many other studios have put out GLs, finding fame with GLs, and/or are about to put out GLs. Tie in the fact that BL specifically is so oversaturated, GMMTV NEEDS this GL. I know GMMTV is quite stupid about some things, but I dont think they'd be this stupid. The ONLY way 23.5 would be cancelled, imo, is if something is happening behind-the-scenes with cast or crew that hasnt hit the news yet. 🤷♀️ And if so, we wouldnt still be getting pictures and comments about on 23.5, director, and actor socials. Also they haven't let scandals stop their stuff before as far as I'm aware of (it's usually government/social stuff - like Military of Love)
So, there's a Japanese food stall (https://www.facebook.com/shotaro.kamijo) that doesnt have a set location. It sets up camp somewhere in Tokyo, posts a riddle on social media, and old and new patrons who want to eat their food must solve the riddle to find its location before they close for the night.
It's actually on my bucket list, if i ever get to go to Tokyo, to team up with people and track down this truck. There's something whimsical and exciting about the idea. About the ephemeral nature of interactions.
The mysterious female lead apparently agrees. As her whole relationship with male lead is driven by the need to find her in the city before 3 AM.
And then ML's narrative to us towards the end? *chef's kiss*
This short film is going to stick with me. That's for sure.
Idk. I think the business x mystery mash up isn't really my thing. So I couldn't get as into this (amateur) investigation as I would've liked to.
But I do got to say, this did kind of surprise me with how the story was told. For instance, the non spoiler thing i can disclose, is that the first half is told through Tazuko's diary entries. And then it switches to Ikuko's perspective in real (story) time.
I also kind of like this underlying message of realizing new things about the people around you - things that instantly change your perspective (both good and bad), and the regret of not finding out these things sooner.

So it's one of those top 2.
