Remake of a mediocre movie. Like the original, it had a stagey feel to it. I liked the scenarios and careers in this version better and, unlike other reviewers, this version touched my heart more than the original.
It seems Netflix has also announced the release year for season 3 in 2024. And season 4 in 2025. And season 5 in 2026 • Apparently each 'season' will have refreshing new monsters and the humans concoct refreshing new ways to kill them with just a few casualties each time. I hope the comments remain as enthusiastic for each 'season'. Why do they even call them 'seasons' when they couldn't be less season-like?
I read somewhere that when a production is a Netflix original, its episodes air all at once. However, when Netflix…
That's the case. It's super fun watching 2 episodes a week along with everyone else in Korea and the world, and the network dramas are the best, pure magic.
I find myself asking WHY? about one half of most current and upcoming K drama pairings. I really like JJS, and…
I think she tries to conceal the fact that she lacks confidence. I'm waiting for her to mature, throw herself into her role and put in an earnest performance without worrying about who she is. I think she has it in her.
The two young actors' excellent acting in episode 1 has set the bar really high for PEB. She's a good actress…
I guess you've watched ep.2 by now. Wow! PEB totally nailed it. Totally agree, the young ones did a fantastic job, there was a clear line between younger and older versions - they must have worked together to build the character.
It was always intended to be 2 parts. Both part 1 & 2 were filmed simultaneously over 13 months.
Some bits of part 1 looked fantastic, like top of the range sci fi action. Narrative was wonky. There seems to be a phobia in k-movies to tell a linear story, they're so stuck on the idea it's boring or something - so it looks a lot like 2 movies stuck together off the cutting room floor ... and it turns out to be just half the story... abruptly cut in half - so it can't be taken as a movie on its own. And there was some silliness which drags you out of the suspension of disbelief.
Kim yoo jung don't need to feed off the emotions of an accomplished one. She is a good actress and has great screen…
I hear you. She's talented, highly intelligent... imo she's high functioning - difficult to disguise, although she does a good job. I'm not saying they're equal on talent, I agree with your opinion.

It just means that after he made K2 he felt that way. He's changed his mind now. The headline is quite good, I think, because it expresses how demanding the action genre is and how he feels these new projects are worth it - all in a short headline.
That headlines is misleading all people anyway he never take swore that he will not do action drama people make…

No feelings for this pair. They each need to feed off the emotions of an accomplished opposite number, not sure it'll work out... a bit like an AI chat-bot talking to another AI chat-bot.
Great story. The narrative goes a little awry - the many great performances throughout the cast could have carried more weight with a bigger emphasis on the emotional bonds and less on the complicated business arrangements of the investors and relatives. Well done to ENA again, another entertaining series with a pinch of something new.
