He looks good, hope he's on the goodies' side! Can't wait for episode 12. The show drifted a bit over the past few episodes - they could have done a bit more to build the bond between Myung-joon and Ro-hee before the big scene in episode 11, but looking forward to see how it ends.
See how you feel half way through #4. It's got no narrative, they seem to have skipped the storyboard process.…
Sorry. I hope you like it more than me. I haven't even mentioned the costumes yet... they looked a bit sexy, but after a while I was shouting at the girls to put some clothes on. You'll see what I mean.
you should watch While you were sleeping and Start up. she looked so pretty there too and both dramas are worth…
I recommend Anna: Director's Cut. It shows what a proper ensemble cast can achieve with a little rehearsal, planning, talent and fully formed characters. Suzy's right up there with them. In contrast, she was dragged down a little in Doona, in my view.
I love Yang Se Jong so much. He has his own way of talking and i like it so much. I have noticed it in Still 17,…
He looked like a 5 year old when Lee Jin-wook stepped out of the car though, right? He literally shrank. In moments like that, as a man, you shrink. It can't be helped. That was a powerful moment, for 10 seconds, a cool TV commercial for masculinity and cigarettes.
Just started watching this and I'm loving it so far. So far I've watched 2 episodes and this so far feels like…
See how you feel half way through #4. It's got no narrative, they seem to have skipped the storyboard process. The actors are poorly assembled and poorly directed. There are random, pointless characters doing pointless things - literally pointless, no impact on the narrative, not leading into a connected scene later on, just... pointless. It's bad. This dude hangs out with a few girls here and there. Suzy erupts into inexplicable histrionics here and there. Chain smokes gold cigarettes until it looks like it hurts. It's all random and there are no proper characters.
All's well that ends. A 10 minute short story dragged over 9 tedious episodes. This is like one of those no-name straight-to-Viki amateur dramas. Studio Dragon has turned into trash, kerching 💰, thanks for the pile of cash Netflix, here's your drama. A charmless turd with no levity. Made badly. Written badly. One dimensional characters. Acted badly (except the pros Suzy, Kim Sun-young, Lee Jin-wook), it goes from one awkward scene to another. ML acts like a double digit iq dimwit, all the time, a Dunning-Kruger subject, nothing like a real mathematician, he's a preachy, unlikeable, moronic dial-tone, looking down on all the female characters he meets and acting superior towards his one-dimensional buddies. It's impossible to become engaged with vacuous cardboard cutouts that you care nothing about. When they lark around, it's not funny. When they cry, it's not sad. When they talk... the air is filled with utterly pointless words. And I mean pointless. Feel free to skip as much as you like, nobody says anything profound... scenes with dialogue are like one or more dial tones humming at each other. If you watch in fast-forward you could imagine these characters had real personalities, had thoughts and opinions and spoke about interesting things. Alas I watched the whole thing in real-time, deadpan throughout, never smiled once. I feel pretty annoyed - because that's all this 'drama' brings: annoyance. It's shallow. On the bright side, the ending arrives like a light at the end of a long, dark tunnel and would have been perfect if those monsters from hellbound showed up out of nowhere to eviscerate our smug hero... or maybe, since Netflix likes to mix things up, if only Suzy got hold of Jeon Jong-seo's flame thrower. But no, the pompous narcissist somehow gets the upper hand, as they do. Netflix, you turds.
It's just weed. S Korea is way too uptight. This man is an icon. Most SK actors spend more time in the plastic…
If you think the USA is in better shape on the drugs front, so be it. Much of the world sees the US as a country full of addicts, it's become an enormous industry. There are some stats from YouTubers on it, I can't be bothered to find them.
I thought he was doing some hardcore drugs or something but it's just marijuana (illegal or not, it's actually…
Zero tolerance works. I'm ambivalent. Somebody shopped him, I have sympathy for that; I like his work and his acting disposition, and will continue to like him - he played one of my all time character heroes in My Mister, but many other great roles too. At the same time, the law in SK is their concern, not ours, it has to be respected.
Edit: No don't. You're a stalker. You pasted my list into Excel to run stats on it? Bye. What a creep 🤢
