Lol, Squid game is their no1 series why would they cancel it, needed or not Netflix milks their popular series…
ENA compromised the narrative to prep for a second season under Netflix's request/promise. S2 will have none of the charm of s1, been there, done it. S1 felt like something was not quite right. That's the way seasons ruin a good show.
Same! I was just thinking, if I saw a book with that cover I'd buy it straight away. I don't know much about this cast, but it looks like it's going to be intriguing.
What? I know MDL commenters like to spoil dramas - you're jumping the gun a bit
I get it, you're a true fan that looks deeply into her projects, I wasn't being serious - should have added a '😛' or something! Me too, since I saw My Mister I've had nothing but respect for her. We should call her Lee Ji-eun, another thing I love about her is the way she carries herself in the acting world, no airs.
I already disliked MK, but after episode 11 I dislike her even more if that's possible! She is SO PATHETIC and…
She's playing the hand she's been dealt, I like her - we see her low points as you mentioned, it's depicting how the wealthy and powerful view ordinary folks as toys... But we've also seen her qualities, her feelings are sincere, her jealousy was real and so painful to watch. They're all good people, different is all.
Kyeongpil is unreadable to me. In the initial episodes, he was teasing sangsu about suyeong and even subtly cheering…
I think he's not headed in the direction you envisage. He's the friend who gets interested in the girls you like, tells them things to undermine you... with the objective of getting into their pants. He was making a move on Su-young at the drinks, he's chipping away. We'll probably find he's got a darker past than you imagine, not a lighter one... and his ugly side is bound to flare up as he continues to fail in his objectives. Just my opinion, I haven't read the book or anything. I'm just fully immersed in this drama, it's immense.
I love every second of this show. Every second carries some weight. The way Sang-su's mum looked at Mi-gyeong in the bank. Drama doesn't get better than this. Pure finesse throughout.
