Not really. When you think about it, everyone's righteous in their own mind and the overwhelming majority of people aren't maniacs that do dastardly stuff at will. There's a high probability that knowing the actual circumstances of an event from more than one angle will change or soften your opinion. Your opinion, as you've stated, is based only on some of the details. In such cases the less you know about something, the more strongly you feel. I refuse to react to media reports, because any details that mitigate a scandal are omitted, and in many cases, the journalist gets the details wrong, accidentally or on purpose. By saying this, I'm not defending the actress, I'm not condemning her either, I can't, because I don't know enough. What I do know is that I can't trust journalists and social media, 100% untrustworthy.
You appear to have a strong opinion. The less you know about something, the more strongly you feel. Real life is much more complicated and balanced than celebrity gossip can possibly reveal. The news leaves out so much vital information it's foolish to make sweeping judgements based on it. If you had first hand knowledge of any situation, whatever it is, you'd see just how crap and inaccurate news reports are.
I was beyond satisfied with the ending. Everything i wanted to happen, happened. Yoon kyum's death, Pan Ro's death…
I think you should have ticked the spoiler box... My favourite scene in the whole drama was when Ra-el broke yung-chul's ankle, brilliantly done. I found the end a little overcooked - the baddies had done enough to justify their fates already, but the drama kept on ramping up their bad deeds to justify a spectacular conclusion without laying a spec of guilt or blame on the protagonists. And it made 15 episodes, 13 years of evidence collection a bit of a waste of time.
I enjoyed Eve, I enjoyed watching Seo Ye ji again, she metered her character's growth very well and I especially liked her in the latter half, she spoke lovely Spanish to silence her critics. The dancing didn't really work, the show's fashion designer was trying way too hard (surely less is more when off the catwalk), male lead was okay but basically had one expression on his face at all times and lacked charisma, the plot went a little ott at times, baddies a little corny - although Han Sora was super entertaining. All in all the narrative was a touch too blunt, characters lacking sufficient depth, defined by their actions rather than their personalities and thus failing to connect with the audience. I would have liked Attorney Seo to have a bigger role, one of the high points. Anyway, very pleased to see Ye-ji keeping up her energy levels with a solid performance throughout, her A-list credentials in no doubt, with no disrespect she's a trifle overqualified for this production.
It's because they prioritize quantity over quality, which added to the fact that they have little time to film…
You're pretty cool Laura, I saw you'd replied and was preparing for you to slap me (metaphorically). I like your style. I could talk a bit about the trend for webtoon adaptations, strengths and weaknesses compared to dramas of the old fashioned writers; they tend to lack characters with depth and productions are undermined by the premise they're making the drama for webtoon fans - the 3% - and blindly stay loyal to the source even when it isn't at all cinematic. As if they're scared of a nerd telling them off on sns and ruining their reputations or something. Modern productions are a little cowardly in that respect.
min gue!!! hell yeah. i see some people arent happy about the way they are adapting from the webtoon, i should…
Some people feel possessive of the source material, any deviation diminishes their significance; such people are attention seeking narcissists that enjoy spoiling adaptations for others just to show how knowledgeable and great they are. I, on the other hand, just want to see the best drama possible, adapt away good drama gods of South Korea.
