Don't say "wow" when you're only pretending to be surprised. I'm so bored of this. You use the superfluous word "genuinely" for what purpose?... it must be because you're aware your statement is far from genuine. What is "the irony" exactly? If you reply and it's not true to the definition of irony, I'll block you, cool?
Are you being deliberately obtuse? The tone of the whole message is condescending and rude. That's how online bullies talk. Good for you, you enjoy being sarcastic, you're what's known as a flying monkey - a mindless follower.
The big problem with SKorea is that it's too damn focused on harsh punishment instead of rehabilitation support. The…
I believe the best societies are built on personal responsibility, not a nanny state that wraps its citizens in cotton wool. Drug users are technically criminals, that's how the law works. You're far enough away from the crime that you think you can empathise to look cool. But Yoo's money feeds into the nasty end of the criminal world. I have nothing against YAI, he's taking responsibility for his own actions. You're defending crime - the criminal network you're defending is connected with injury, murder, rape, paedophilia. Do you ever think where your money goes when you invest or buy products? Maybe you avoid certain companies that don't match your ideology. What if that product came from a criminal organisation - would you care who gets hurt with that money? You've no idea what you're talking about because you're wrapped in cotton wool.
You sound like North Korea. Will Netflix face severe and unimaginable consequences of it doesn't show your favourite…
I didn't even consider offending you. I wanted to show the absurdity in labelling a whole nation or judiciary as at fault for the personal issues of a popular celebrity. It's of his own making and he's responsible for it.
Me too. My list is just Netflix. I cancelled Viki.
Not what I meant. I mean the team's announcement at the start and end. The stupid team credits that ruin the end of every movie and drama it announces on. When I watched My Girlfriend is a Kumiho years ago it literally covered the screen while the drama was still ongoing... and I don't want to be told the end is nigh, ever. And song lyrics - that's also incorrect, unless a character is singing, or the words make a difference somehow. I'm sick of their English editor that doesn't know how to phrase and makes too many mistakes. I'm happy to miss anything that's only on Viki after several years of paying for premium - I can watch Kocowa dramas with proper subs separately.
Viki is a kids' playground that alienates me, I feel it's a service not designed for me. So I cancelled, I'm not sorry, I don't miss it (self-justification), less aggravation is better. Those kids doing the subs are antagonists - subtitles should be subtle-titles, not distracting.
And they censor the language. They actually write s*** when a character *says* "shit". Stupid and immature.
Really enjoyed it. And Kim Go-eun looks absolutely stunning, her look and aura is off the scale. If there was a little more camaraderie between the leads and little more mystique I'd have given it 10.
I think it's going to Disney+ as Netflix won't pick a 16-episodes Mystery Drama for At-Once or 2/Week release.…
Thanks. There are a few cases where weekly dramas are aired on Netflix everywhere except Bangladesh and India, maybe you have protection laws for local broadcasters or something? Or it goes through censorship and classification?
Disney grabs everything its money can buy - but if Korean studios care about loyal customers (safe, long term investments), Disney is the last distributor they should be doing deals with - such studios may find in a few years that fast money doesn't last long and it damages quality.

Yeah, it's not the price, and for all languages except English it's slightly more acceptable.
I started getting distracted by the additional messages in the subs to the point I had to just get rid of it.
I decided to watch Midnight Studio on a pirate site, but they'd lifted it from Viki, subs et al - so I stopped, they make me feel physically sick. And the grammatical style is now equally annoying, not just the graffiti.
Viki subs are a faux pas, against all principles and rules of subtitling.
They fkin translate song lyrics when there's no point too. Just can't stand it. So i'm missing a drama I wanted to watch - there is a back catalogue I can watch until Viki's exclusive licence expires.
There are some attacks here on South Korea's policy, enforcement, attitudes to drugs. I believe the criticism is unfounded, here's some empirical evidence which supports the position.

Good riddance. I'll watch Kwon Nara another time.
Edit: marked as spoiler, long messages suck.

As such, yes - I'm looking forward to it! ðŸ¤
