Did I miss some major plot point in the first episodes cos I’m still not understanding anything in this drama…
My take is that it's mix of everything. She had a terrible childhood and she longs for love, and he was exactly that. Also, she definitely wanted to social climb as well. He ticked all her boxes, so she went all out. That's why all her actions are multi-layered, both real and fake.
They didn’t…. It was very obvious frm the start. Revealing is completely unnecessary wn there r obvious signs
Oh you don't need to. You called out on me, I wanted to exchange views with you since our views are different. If you don't want to continue the discussion, just ignore it.

So far we have been shown ML would like to have extreme control and keep tabs on everything. That trait definitely counts as a red flag.
I'm talking from the perspective of analyzing the character. I'm not arguing that they are not fit for each other. They are basically similar type of people. FL literally lied her way into the marriage isn't it.
I love how Xu Yan's actions are multi-layered, always a mix of her genuine goodness and calculations accompanied by her relentless pursuit towards her goals.
I'm usually not a fan of makjang-ish stories (because the synopsis sounded like one to me), so I didn't have much expectation going into this drama. Now I'm seated for our imperfect heroine. Her character is just the breath of fresh air I need right now in my drama watching.
Loved it from start to finish! Good vibe, great acting, swoon-worthy romance, and relaxing story. My face went stiff from grinning for entire 30 episodes... why are they so adorable!!!

Finished the drama. It became better for me in the later half. Stayed for the plot. Not the most intriguing twists but that's fine and it's quite enjoyable.
The most fun aspect for me was guessing the motives of all the baddies. Loved that majority of them are morally grey characters.
I'm at ep13 now, but something is not clicking for me. Cases were okay... but I don't know how to feel about the romance development between the leads. The supposed romantic moments just came so randomly and went away in the same fashion as well... and I'm not getting the feeling of they are into each other except when the plot is telling me explicitly they are into each other.
Based on the preview of ep 34, i feel like instead of losing her memory, she literally only has her memory as…
Yes. It looks like the case to me as well. She even remembers she's a demon, and claiming once she learnt Changxi palace techniques, she'll become a dual cultivator of demon arts and daoism.

I think he surely knows.

This is a certified seal of approval for me to continue watching 🤣🤣🤣
How is it like in the later episodes?
Quite cute scenes tbh. Looking forward to them.
