TRTS is about two ppl growing together. While it's a good watch overall, it skimmed over many things to keep the story tight.
Against the Current will mainly be about FL's journey and it goes very detailed into both character and world building to depict it more authentically. And the story is much heavier as well.
If you are in the mood for such story, you might like it. So far it's really going strong.
The word 'second wife' needs to be cleared up a bit imo.
Lin family is not royal family. So, there is no 'Secondary Wife/Consort' rank like royal family does. For them, it's one principal wife, and then concubines and Tongfangs.
