Totally agreed. She seems to be very clear and in control of the politics around Linshan Academy. Her actions are too purposeful and calculated to be labeled delusional.

I much prefer the story telling in The First Jasmine better, and the characters here are much better written as well. I may finish AtC later, but for now this drama is my obsession.

Insane behavior because she's on the verge of insanity to begin with. Gotta deep dive to comprehend her state of mind at any given moment. Really can't judge her with the regular ruler we use for simpler and more straight forward characters.

Mo Xiuyao nagging and scolding Ye Li, and Ye Li nonchalantly coaxing him back... those are one of my favorite parts of the drama. I can watch them do it all day. ❤️😍

By the look of things, it's pretty clear that she was the one who killed the snakes. But in her mind, it was Master Zhu who saved her.

Regardless of whether Master Zhu is dead or alive, how could he—someone who normally can't even leave the mountain—coincidentally be there to save her just in time right.

And as for Qin Shuang, Ye Li has all the bite marks Qin Shaung has. So, we can assume that she's acting unconsciously here as well.

Now she's got 2 confirmed phantoms/personalities in her head. As we have seen so far, she's not just merely imagining them, but actually acting in those alternate selfs unconsciously.

Who knows how many more she has. It's definitely intriguing to wonder what the cause is and what kind of closure she needs to resolve her condition.
