You mean Wei Rao/Jundai right? No, she's a narcissistic sociopath. She doesn't want others to have what 'belongs' to her, and she refuses to take any losses as well. Mix those 2 traits and we got one hell of a toxic crazy person.
I don't think she even has romantic interest towards ML. She just wants to have him because he and the position of the future Duchess are supposedly hers.

Yes, it's just Wei Rao in the book. If you like historical fiction romance novels, it's a decent read. Just treat it as a different story from the drama.
The setting is similar. In the book, Lu Zhou was in coma, and Wei Rao married into the Lu family just like in the drama.
The rest is how the couple navigate their relationship, lots of ups and downs, and some politics. Pretty typical of this type of story I would say.
If you are looking for the crazy and chaotic energy of the drama in the book, it won't be there. And no tension about the doppelganger, and cat and mouse games either. So, adjust your expectations for it if you are planning to read.

Her immediate concern was not Lu Zhou finding out, but Wei family silencing her during the home visit. She left it there as a deterence toward the Wei family.
Who knows, Lu Zhou might even be happy when he finds out the woman he married is not the vicious woman he disliked.
