Just because she signed with a new agency don't mean y'all need to bring drama for the sake of dramatic effect. It's old news by now. It don't clickbait anymore. We'll see how it goes for her. There is no guarantee in life.
Remember how the opening scene in Gossip Girl started with Serena coming back home on the train? Iconic walk through the station? That is how you grab viewers' attention. It must have a purpose and characters for you to root or hate etc.
There's few quotes I've never forgotten in Gossip Girl
"Spotted in Central Park. Two white flags waving. Could an Upper East Side peace accord be that far off? So what will it be? Truce or consequences? We all know one nation can't have two queens. What happens next ? Only time will tell. XOXO, Gossip Girl."
"[to Jenny] That's the thing. You need to be cool to be queen. Anne Boleyn thought only with her heart and she got her head chopped off. So her daughter Elizabeth made a vow never to marry a man. She married a country. Forget boys. Keep your eye on the prize, Jenny Humphrey. You can't make people love you, but you can make them fear you. For what it's worth, you're my Queen. I choose you." - Blair
"Well, here’s my advice. Have a little faith, and if that doesn’t work, have a lot of mimosas." - Blair
It's unfair to compare to American iconic primetime soap for teen girls but there was so much similarity that I had to think it was an inspiration to Hierarchy.
Gossip Girl is superior in most ways maybe due to chemistry and longer story arcs.
My thoughts on Hierarchy?
The cast was all right with pretty main actresses and good looking actors but they were not supported well with weak writing and pacing issues. I don't think there is any memorable scenes or moments to keep but they did their job.
One more thing ... I am aware of the fact that one of the actresses been noted for plastic surgery but I always think they really consider all options on personal appearance until the decision been made to greenlight the surgery. If she is satisfied with the result then it's all good. The casting people would evaluate her against many actresses. It is not easy to win roles so whatever it takes to impress them. As for me, I would say Roh Jeong-eui did decent acting on Hierarchy.
"It's not important what people think when you come in, it's much more important what people think when you leave." - Jürgen Klopp, Former Liverpool manager
This is what you should think every time an actress completes her project. Yes, there were some criticisms out there but what you thought about Kim Hye-yoon is uniquely up to you.
No one is required to like... love... adore her but please give her a chance to impress you. You never know unless you let yourself in... all right? Good talk.
First episode rarely ever hit the height so we'll find out if they got it rocking or not at all. I can see the chemistry between both to be lovers but the writing and plot pacing may be up in the air. No problem just for now. You can see some cast members being familiar due to previous appearances in Something in the Rain and One Spring Night.
I'm sure that her fanbase is thrilled with Instagram account being opened as of today. I saw about three posts already so it should be very active with her projects and other things.
I had to watch the last 3 episodes at Hooters restaurant. It was the only time I could get it done. I can say I got through some tedious scenes by drinking so it won't get on my nerves too much. It is no question best watched for true Bean fans... it is nickname given by Park Min-young for her loyal fanbase. I can't promise that you would love or hate it... sometimes it was lovable... then hateable... it is crazy I know... but the ending should be satisfactory for the most parts in your time invested in FLAW.
Pros? Decent actors... Good camera shots... Food scenes... Funny sex scenes even if it's not shown in finishing touch.
Cons? Writing is ehh okay but sometimes make no sense at all... The chemistry for romantic couples were not unforgettable but they tried their best... Hospital trope was not very convincing... Overbearing parents but true world-class actors trying to do what the storyline dictates
I would give it 7.5 because I knew their actors had good reputation but it was difficult to get through weak writing. If you're a true Bean fan then you should watch this but if you're just wondering if it is worth your time... I would say I didn't want to do re-watch but I didn't regret finish this on my list. I hope that it may helps you to decide on FLAW.
It is ironic that I had eaten ribs just before watching Blood Free. I know their economy would've been radically changed with many centuries of traditions being turned upside down. It is a perfectly mysterious and sinister at same time. I'll keep watching for now.
It's a really nice drama to watch even though I think it is funny how new viewers complain about turning off comments. The best part? The one that proclaimed to quit watching in the middle of 2nd episode due to annoying FL. Oh okay sure see ya later!
This soup is still being soup with all the no sense around. Writer is trying best to milk the cow as much possible…
This is not a documentary about romance and money. If you accidentally thought it was going to be an original idea... there is no such thing in modern entertainment. This is why they relied so much on tropes and references to the real world such as Suzy's smile.
Meanwhile, I would say that it is a very decent watch and if one don't like it... it is not the end of this world at all.
After talking with fellow Somin fans and we basically agreed that Hyeri should sue you for using your platform to let your fanbase know to attack her.
Hyeri won't sue because we all know that you need a real therapy sessions preferably without men.
Meanwhile...
"Last week Han So Hee had two of her brand endorsements end without renewing, and one of them was a big soju brand which has now selected Kim Ji Won as its new spokesmodel."
It is so funny that Jiwon took your endorsement and guess why? She don't do personal drama game. I think you should study more about how best actresses conduct themselves in professional matter. I knew that you had a rough life but none of this justify your irrational personality.
The last parting shot? Not even your agency wanted to defend you at all.
Ironically, I think Anne is the prettiest of them all. I don't have any problem with this version but I can't say it is the best ever story related to Cinderella or Little Red Riding Hood. It was too easy when they gave away too many hints and you won't be shocked at all. I would give it a 7 for not being annoying or boring.
I watched all episodes in two days. I think my favorites are ML's mother and his ex-girlfriend because both are beautiful and likable at same time. I didn't know if team chemistry would work but somehow it was pretty fun and wacky adventures.
I had no idea that the ending would make me rethink how I remembered the way I lived during the late 20th Century obviously in American experience. You see I remembered how the Cold War ended with my 1991 world map on my bedroom wall frozen in time. It had USA and USSR on it. No one knew how to make of it but USA was the superpower that stood alone during the 1990s. It was an amazing final decade of the 20th Century in my memories. As you know my generation had to go to Afghanistan and Iraq... plenty of caskets to count... it was really when we realized the world is not going to be same ever again. It was not fair comparison to how Korean peninsula had to endure decades worth of split nations and Cold War played a big role in proxy war between USA and USSR and rest of y'all had to hold your breath wondering if one day everything would be gone instantly in one moment of time.
Sometimes we wished things are better now but nostalgia is a very powerful thing to remind us of things we really missed in good old days. You know like being in love especially first love. You can't make it up because it is unique experience for every person. The little things that make us swoon once upon a time. I love the lovers even if it is not everlasting... For brief moment in time... it was beautiful and funny.
For her who was born in the closing days of the 20th Century, I hope that she know that it was one of the most unique times in human history.
I know that 🐇 fans asked for more of JSM but good news is that she’s becoming more active now. I don’t know how long it would last but no problem at all.
“ Hello. This is Hyeri. First, I sincerely apologize for the speculations and controversies that arose over the past few days due to my personal emotions. I think I failed to consider the ripple effects that each of my minor actions could have. I sincerely apologize to anyone who was harmed because of me.
Last November, the news was released that my eight-year relationship came to an end. It was not a decision made in a short period of time, and even after the breakup news came out, we had a conversation about talking more [about our situation]. However, we have not had any contact or met since that conversation. And four months later, I think my emotions after coming across a new article were perceived not as actress Lee Hyeri but as just Lee Hyeri. I apologize once again for causing harm with my impulsive emotions.
Over the past few days, I didn’t explain the reason for my actions because I thought that our conversations were overly personal, and it would only increase fatigue [to the public]. If this caused confusion for anyone, I am also sorry for that.
Moving forward, I will be more careful with my words and actions. Thank you.
