FL actress got about 1 million followers on Instagram... fair enough if that's how she got the role but it's not a very strong first impression. Unfortunately, it's more about how many followers they got than how good they are on the screen. It's only few episodes so plenty of time to warm up or throw in the trash bin type drama.
At least it's not The Impossible Heir legendary kind of bad... but should be sufficient for their respective fanbases between ML and FL.
So it's been left with a better supporting cast to keep it floating somewhat before drowning into unbranded water bottle. LOL.
But if you really are enjoying this drama then I hope you can complete all 12 episodes.
It is not meant for everyone. If you can't understand why the ending is just like that... you don't have to do anything. All right? It worked for me because I am always going to root for proper ending. Finally, for some reason that beautiful woman and the ocean always connect even across most of her KDRAMAs. If that gives you a proper reflection then so be it. 9.5/10
KYJ can play anything and make you bow down in the front of her. She may have beat Suzy in madness performance category. Thriller role is always fun for actors to perform and they don't have to pretend too much.
I’ve given it 7.5 ⭐️. I’ve watched all episodes and some criticisms are valid but I still likes to watch JYB. Revenge drama is almost always winnable and I don’t think it’s completely outdated yet.
It’s interesting how male led revenge drama almost always show heroic death ending while most female led revenge dramas depend heavily on visibility with their male love interests.
Of course, I’m comparing this to Mercy for None bloody revenge drama. It’s ok to have as little blood as possible… provided it’s been backed with good script and actors.
JSM is one of my KDRAMA girls so yes I am not going to miss out on this one. Yeah, I am aware of how typecast she was in romcom genre but at least we can see her in different genre.
I’ve watched both episodes. It fits JSM the best with romantic comedy over other genres although Alchemy of Souls season 1 is the hardest one to complete due to various factors nothing to do with her awesome talents at all. I thought it’s good that they didn’t try to kill the chemistry too early and made everything high stakes to up the scheme in comedic ways.
Much better than Melo Movie when I fell asleep while Netflix was asking if I wanted to watch more… ouch.
I’ve got no idea how I had to entertain being a fake Canadian citizen in order to watch JSM in this new release but I would not wait for back door politics in delaying for no reason.
Please don’t concern yourself too much about MDL ratings… they are not real until it’s completed series.
Only watched it for Suzy and Eun-jin. I know some of you questioned rating but I've given it a 9. It's funny how they nearly got grandma and the dentisst to overshadow the main leads... only for grandma to prop up the main leads in the end. That's the power of Eun-jin... she can make you fall in love only by looking at you with her smile.
Apparently, some people thought it was unrealistic for super beauty to fix cars for living but I've met such person in real life and fixed cars because it was fun to do during her free time.
I know Suzy is not always going to be world-class actress that you always hoped for but she can perform sufficiently to some satisfaction.
Anyway... just watch it to finish your checklist or fulfill your Uncontrollably Fond wish.
I'll wait until they ask IU and Suzy same question then I can say... I don't care how they dealt with it because top 1% don't struggle like 99% do... all right? No more stupid question and ask relevant questions about their next few years like how many movies or TV series they would like to do or if they are interested in retirement phase etc.
Softball questions are for weak journalists to pretend to fill their requirement count.
For 12 episodes total? Pretty easy to breeze through but it’s not easy to compress some storylines in 12 total episodes. I can say that I’ve enjoyed watching their ensemble scenes.
Remember “Universal laws are for lackeys, context is for kings.”
ok let’s roll it back to fall 2024:
“In 'Knock-Off,' Jo Bo Ah plays Song Ye Jung, a district office official who investigates counterfeit goods, opposite Kim Soo Hyun’s character, Kim Sung Joon. Speaking about working with Kim Soo Hyun, she previously stated, “Although this is my first time acting alongside him, his expressive gaze and voice tone make it easy to immerse myself in the scene. Thanks to him, I felt comfortable on set and relied on him a lot during filming.” She added, “While we didn’t have many scenes together, I look forward to developing more chemistry in the future.”
Imagine finding out that KSH is a counterfeit?
I know it’s PR talking point but there was no time to really check everything before this epic scandal one day to be made in movie or series.
It’s unfortunate they got so excited about working with limited acting range personality and find out it’s been ruined by his personal ethics.
I know her true fans are very disappointed about the last few weeks of craziness but ultimately it may be the right thing to do in the end. It is not easy to film and to find out that all of your hard work just went down in the toilet. The difference is that she is always welcome to work with the best but that unnamed idiot is unlikely to match up with the best ever again.
Money always win over loyalty so as long as he lose them money.... it is worthless.
So such is life... how many twists and turns left to turn over the page...
“For all its material advantages, the sedentary life has left us edgy, unfulfilled. Even after 400 generations in villages and cities, we haven't forgotten. The open road still softly calls, like a nearly forgotten song of childhood. We invest far-off places with a certain romance. This appeal, I suspect, has been meticulously crafted by natural selection as an essential element in our survival. Long summers, mild winters, rich harvests, plentiful game—none of them lasts forever. It is beyond our powers to predict the future. Catastrophic events have a way of sneaking up on us, of catching us unaware. Your own life, or your band's, or even your species' might be owed to a restless few—drawn, by a craving they can hardly articulate or understand, to undiscovered lands and new worlds. Herman Melville, in Moby Dick, spoke for wanderers in all epochs and meridians: ‘I am tormented with an everlasting itch for things remote. I love to sail forbidden seas . . .’”
Follow the money... if you're losing sponsors for few weeks since... that's not a good sign for quick resolution when there's more bread crumbs to find... there's too many crows up there.
There’s no such world anymore where everyone just look at you like a very expensive useless doormat.
They are taking down your doofus looking face everywhere.
Even on this ill-fated KDrama?
Lawyers are your only true friends until you’re broke.
Brad Pitt aka Tristan died in Legends of the Fall movie after fucking everyone up so good.
“One Stab: Tristan died in 1963. The moon of the popping trees. He was last seen up in the North Country, where the hunting was still good. His grave is unmarked, but it does not matter. He had always lived in the borderland anyway, somewhere between this world and the Other.”
The entire KDrama industry knew so it’s like Pleasantville (1998) movie when they started to show real colors.
From now on, I don’t want to hear one more word about how you wanted your favorite KDrama stars to get married because you saw them in your favorite KDrama movie or TV series.
Not everyone is going to be Son Ye-jin and get to pick her Prince No Face then you join their fan club.

Be well. 7.5 ⭐️

If you didn't know but she did a nude scene in My Summer of Love (2004) for example.
One piece of advice: Don't spam the comments with three separate posts in a row but at least you didn't try to solicit at all.
Let me show you something sinister...
In America, we executed a black man with Nitrogen Gas in the state of Louisiana.
FYI, it is actually illegal to use it on dogs and cats.
Human beings are not treated as well as you may think...
You buy a very nice iPhone right? We exploit $2 per hour workers on daily basis.
You are always going to care more about rich Pedos than poor workers.
After all, it is very hard to find out your Prince Doofus is a dirty man.
It's so unbelievable that he is cruel and typical sexual deviant predator?
Sure... it is easy to ignore all red flags and pretend you didn't know anything.
You knew. Period.

It’s time to wake up from your sweet dream 💭
