August 2024 is confirmed to be first episode of Mom's Friend's Son... This is what they are shooting for... so go ahead mark your calendar on iPhone or Samsung Galaxy. You're welcome!
The first still picture... damn they looked like a real couple! I won't be surprised if it is going to be one of the iconic KDramas for 2024. I am there for Kim Ji-won so I am ready when it is released in two months time!
I can see why it is rarely mentioned in top 5 favorite Jung So-min KDrama shows. It is hard to like her character even if I take her side no matter what. You can't always expect to love your favorites, so it is important to let them take roles to break from the typecasting etc. Yes, I suffered through 20 long episodes, but the final episode was worth it even for their epilogue ending. I would recommend this only if you are true lover of suffering dramas... if not... don't put yourself through it.
It’s time to mark Confirmed ✍️ on Mom’s Friend’s Son. I hope they are going to take a good care of her because many of us wanted to see the pairing with Jung Hae-in. His chemistry with Han Ji-min was epic so I trust that he would find chemistry with our favorite 🤞… now go speculate all you want with pictures & hints. Enjoy the time between now to the last episode ok? I’m happy for her and all of us too. 🐇
LSG was a rock they broke themselves against...with epic performances that would withstand the test of time. Maybe he just lived somewhere between this world and the other. I know this is a very tragic result but his legacy would live on with countless stories that he told through his unforgettable performances. Finally, You are the most human of us all. You have made so many fans love, smile and cry... don't let that fade away. Rest in peace.
I’ve always been perplexed by the ugly side of South Korea wondering when they would grow up to be a better nation with proper sense of mercy. This is just the latest black eye moment only that it’s a real life being taken so harshly by many enemies. Enough! It’s high time to take serious self-reflection for all because it was carelessly done with such cruelty. My prayers and thoughts for his family, friends and true loyal fans around the world.
I can see why it is not universally loved with various reactions. Personally, I liked Love Reset maybe because I am a fan of Jung So-min. I realized that they could've expanded more with backstory but it is not too bad for romantic comedy movie. As a diehard Liverpool fan... I loved the reference to Carlsberg because they used to sponsor Liverpool shirt famously during UEFA Champions League Final 2005 between Liverpool and AC Milan.
I made it through despite being a die-hard Liverpool fan. I had to watch this one because I’ve not seen Jung So-min before… now I would like to see more of her works. I thought the first half was very good then they seem to try to drag this story to the end. I loved poems, cat, food, alcohol but most of them all… bed scenes.
I added “Plan to Watch” because if Jung So-min is in it then I have to watch… don’t have to say anything more to convince me. Viki is not ready to release yet but it’s in my watchlist.
I remembered a very unforgettable scene in Gettysburg (1993) where a character named Kilrain had to tell Colonel Chamberlain what he really think of American Civil War and he said, "I'm Kilrain, and I damn all gentlemen.... *pointing his one finger to his own head* There is only one aristocracy, and that is right here." This is a perfect description of what the true cost of war and all things associated with it.
One wise man once said that the history is replete with turning points and I don't disagree with his point at all. We knew that it won't be a total happy ending because the history won't allow it. Instead, I would like to think that we get to enjoy some moments of happiness and smile about them then be prepared to suffer brutal outcomes for some wonderful characters... especially when I didn't realize Ae-shin's parents had to die brutally but damn they acted very beautifully at same time. Every time they show Kim Ji-won... damn it...I don't typically like death scene for my favorites but I am going to make this a very rare exception.
I have to confess that I am Catholic and I know how suffering is a big part of how we see the world. The characters suffered a lot and I thought that it is a big theme for this minseries. I knew that it would be a long twilight struggle and it was painfully chronicled in the history books. I know the memories of what happened is fading but it is proper to remember what it meant to them.
Han Ji-min and Kim Ji-won in 2024 for their respective upcoming shows? I shouldn’t be too happy but I guess since I must confess that I am at that kind of happy level maybe for whole 5 minutes. Yes it’s a reference 😉
I’m doing random Kim Ji-won watchlist… it was not based on proper timeline. Oddly, I watched based on the most recent to the first ever order. You would enjoy this watch if you don’t take it very seriously and just let it be… I would watch it again someday.
I watched this show just for Ji-won. I assumed that it was a reasonable show to finish because it had some mix of humor and drama. I am not sure why the 17th episode is really necessary but at least they wrapped up nicely in the end.
