Even when Chai An kicked the ball towards 3rd daughter's head, if you watch that part again he didn't do it with huge force because he didn't really want to hurt her. Compare the force with when she kicked it back at him.

And finally, FYI although I watched WTPR and you'll see it in my watchlist, I didn't enjoy it as much as most people did, I barely saw the last episodes. And for QOT, didn't bother with it at all.

Oh, I can tell you that some of us do defend the FLs. I remember when Fireworks of my heart was airing. The FL was bashed from beginning to end. Me and a few other users tried to defend her, she wasn't so bad imo, I could understand her because she had a terribly controlling mother (her mother was insufferable).

I didn't eventually finish it though because one of my favourite characters was killed, which was not how it went in the novel. I was mad.

I know everyone will have different levels of tolerance, we can't all be the same.

Most people have complaints that the MLs here are abusive (I am not excusing that dummy Yang Xian). While most of us if we check out our Watchlists, we have dramas like Moonlight mystique, Blossom, LBFAD, TTEOTM, My Journey to you, etc. These dramas are just a few amongst many where the ML either choked, tortured or almost killed the FL in the beginning before warming up to them.
So, what is the deal about Perfect match?

Concerning Chai An as a businessman, I don't see why he should have to yield or go easy on them because they are a family of a widow and her daughters, business is business.
