Honestly??? I wish they had kept the passionate aspect of Wei Shao [There are surely ways to do it without making it explicit]. Oh, he's passionate about his work with the canal, fighting, his family, the people, we can see that. But I wish they didn't go the clueless man route when it comes to his wife. I want him to KNOW his wife is interested in him and to return that interest even if it is just physical desire for now.
I'm also thinking, could it be that we're interpreting him wrong in the drama. Because I have a feeling he knows she likes him and he likes her too, but he's fighting it because of the family feud. Which is why he asks his cousin that question in the upcoming episode.
I loved the swift way they dealt with Wei Shao's uncle. It showed the ruthlessness of Wei Shao that was so prominent in the novel. He showed no mercy to troublemakers and that uncle was a big one that needed to be dispatched ASAP.
Exactly, that's how I started following his career. I heard an OST, the one from "Go Go Squid pt 2". Fell in love with the song and his voice. And he seems to always sing an OST for most of the dramas I enjoy. Super talented man.
