They probably see him as a defective child and don't want to allow him freedom so they aren't ridiculed by their friends. They probably care more about looks/societal standard than their own child's happiness. But maybe they also have a reason why they do this and we don't know yet and might find out now that Heart might be in trouble/hurt.

Relationships are complicated and more so when one party doesn't want it to end or let go. It was obvious that Wen no longer loves Alan and hasn't for some time, but I wonder why? What drove him to that point? Sure people fall out of love all the time, but there is always a reason why. Alan seems to think the reason is BS (even with the preview of Wen saying he doesn't love him) so something more is there.

Poor Jim he really is not looking to complicate his life as it is.

I love the way that everyone's life path is being shared/explored. We get to see how these characters think and behave which makes them more realistic and not caricatured.

Wen's friend dropping some knowledge bombs! Always appreciate characters like that.

Like Gian said, you have to pay close attention to what they are celebrating it indicates what passage of time is happening.

Chopper is a good character, but they haven't really used him as they should. I hope there is some redeeming arcs for some of these characters in the next two episodes.

I mean, Not met was kind of adult and so was 3willbefree which is also LGBTQ and then you have Friendzone, A tale of a 1000 stars and the Warp Effect. I think GMM can do adult dramas just fine, it is a matter of them just actually investing in them. I hope they continue to do more and really take risks.

Hook up culture is real everywhere. It's common in American Movies/Shows because it is just part of life and with Asian dramas/movies they are sort of more "conservative" however, they are breaking out that. Though I've been watching Asian movies for decades and some have more explicit content than some western movies.

Love Triangles are real too and cliche AF, but they make for messy drama which a lot of people seem to enjoy. I agree that out of all the issues they could have focused one, to pick a love triangle could be lazy, but if done right, there is a lot of value in the story.

I disliked KP I thought it was cliche and dumb. The first few episodes were interesting and then it just spiraled into crap town. The Eclipse I couldn't even finish it and then went back to finish it. I thought it was an okay series as far as GMM goes. This series is just making little to no sense and sort of asking us to fill in the holes when it shouldn't be that way for every single episode. It started off good and it just went bad somewhere. I'm still enjoying it but not as much as before. I don't drop dramas that easily and I stick as much as I can, but NLMG is testing my patience!

okay they have been ruining this drama for some time now. The plot holes I could live with, but the nonsensical plot/script is just not meshing well. And this was a super filler episode with nothing to add other than to show Nueng being "bad ass" which then mades us ask, did he really need to leave in the first place? The director just wanted an excuse to have these two go on a honeymoon that's the way it is coming across. The only good character in this whole thing is Kit and even his evil plans are just so misguided/misdirected.

Not gonna lie, I still watch it for the music. Yikes!

In Japan honorifics can still be used amongst couples and polite language as well. It is a cultural thing for them.

I'm not a fan of either Earth or Mix. Only reason I am watching it is because I did like a tale of a 1000 stars. But I haven't watched anything else from them since. However, given the premise of the trailer with the adult themes, I was ready to give it a try. So far it hasn't disappointed me. I find that Mix is doing much better here than in a Tale of 1000 stars.

Oh I thought you were implying she was bad when you asked "anyone else suspicious of Praeng?" I took it to mean you didn't trust her and her motives. Sorry if you didn't mean that.

she isn't bad. They are playing a young couple dealing with the stress of an unplanned baby while also both not having any direction in life such as goals/career paths etc.
