I have no problem with the sighing. People who are resigned, fed up, tired, or angry are constantly sighing, especially adults. I find myself sighing even when I am bored, so for me, their characters are doing it to show that they are tired of the life they have right now. For Wen, he is tired of the relationship he is in, for Jim is tired of having to run a successful business, while also taking care of his nephew while at the same time not allowing himself to find a partner. Honestly, if this is the major complaint some people have, then I say the drama is doing a good job of portraying adults who are jaded by life.
Called it! I was having this convo with a friend and told them that either his mother would die or his father. Made sense. While watching the second part of the episode, it was so obvious that this where they were heading. I loved her character and it's sad to see her go, but to be honest she did it to save her son. It was both her comeuppance and her sacrifice for the child she abandoned for years. It was poetic.
I liked that Nueng did what he did to get away from Palm. Palm was too focus (almost like a horse with blinders) in protecting him and not letting him go. So it made sense that he left Palm the way he did.
I think what I liked the most was that Ben was the one to hear the plan. He could hold Chopper responsible but also be a witness to both Chopper and Nueng when the times come, which in turn would be a way for him to make up for throwing Nueng under the bus when they got caught. That way he won't have anything to "owe" in a sense.
some plothole galore but overall this drama isn't as bad as some people keep parroting.
Freen is doing so well! I love her acting in this episode. Neung was so cool and she made some very valid points. In the end, Sam has to figure things out on her own she can't rely on her friends or sister or even Mon. For her to grow and truly be free from her Grandmother, she has to understand that you can love someone especially blood related, but you don't have to like them or accommodate their unreasonable demands. I actually liked how the curse of ep 11 wasn't really present here, since Sam decided that Mon was her lover and would leave with her, I was gearing up for them having a long break up, but it seems Gap decided to be different and leave the big drama for the last episode. I hope it doesn't make the drama suffer more from some of the rush and plot holes. For being the first 12 episode GL drama it is doing a lot better than I had expected and I hope this signals more projects for sapphics!
I don't know why suddenly with the so called leaked recording, some people are still trying to diminish what this woman is claiming.
For starters, it appears that she didn't know she was being recorded which lends itself to the narrative that he controlled the conversation. In places such as California, the one party rule says that you can record someone without their knowledge or consent but that also means that people can easily manipulate this. They can drive the conversation towards whatever end/goal they want. This is a tactic most done by manipulators/narcissists/gaslighters. Sure you will get the other party to admit to some wrongdoing, but it still should make one critically ask themselves, does that negate the accusations?
And apparently according to native Thai speakers, a lot of what was said regarding the "hit" doesn't even translate to what we outside of Thai can understand, which again, shows how easily outsiders can be manipulated by a narrative.
Both of these people seem like losers to me, but it really shocks me how some people can easily dismiss violence against women just because they are portrayed as crazy. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of women out there who have ruined men and their careers, but people need to realize that the number of these women who lie is very minute compared to the many who truly are in such a horrendous situation.
The best policy in this is for people to just stop spreading rumors, stop thinking these famous people (men in particular) need to be babied or protected, stop putting these people on a pedestal. They are flawed and they are human.
Just a little reminder to some that victims don't have to be perfect (there is no such thing as a perfect victim) so while there might be some questionable behaviors regarding this young woman, that doesn't mean she wasn't a victim.
I got no candle in this funeral, but it kind of sickens me that some fans are so blind in their adoration that they can't accept that he is human and capable of wrongdoing and flaws. But I also do come from the belief that we shouldn't blindly believe someone 100% either. We need to leave a bit of room for questions and skepticism, but that doesn't mean attacking this woman either or silencing her. If we do that, then other victims will continue to hide their abuse due to fear of retaliation and judgment from society. It is already hard enough.
for all those dreading both leads dying at the end.. ha ha.. snap out of it.. nobody's dyinghowever, we have Sky2..…
Sky 2 is for Fish Upon the Sky coupleso their is a chance that Pond/Phuwin's characters in this drama could meet an untimely end (which would make the drama more interesting) but we know GMM isn't going to kill off any of them.
As some users have pointed out, this new trailer is not really doing it for me as much as the other one. I do hope this doesn't signal a water down story from what they were selling us. I am ready for real adult issues and themes, so anything less than the grittiness of complicated relationships is going to be a hard pass for me. I am not a big Mix/Earth fan, but I do like that they give it their all, so I hope this script doesn't fall flat.
