It’s easy to hate on A Sheng, however she is just being who she knows best. A Sheng is brought up being a traumatized…
I won't even mind if A Sheng & FL are end game lol. The way she gets jealous of ML.... I like her very much. And she's so freaking badass when she fights. Even if she stays single towards the end of this drama...I am ok with it. I am going to miss her a lot when this drama ends.
On that note, suggest me some of your fav cdramas (obv not the mainstream ones)
Depends on what you consider as mainstream. It's been a long time so forgot about most of them.
Our Secret Forever Love Reset Shining for one thing Under the skin Ancient Detective You are desire The day of becoming you Love designer Love me if you dare Poisoned love Listening snow tower The legends.
Ep 25 is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, episodes of all time in C-drama history, and I am saying this after watching hundreds of dramas. If you have not started watching this drama yet, you are for sure missing out. Most underrated drama. 8.1 rating... are you kidding me? The conflict shown between mortals and immortals is so refreshing. It was done before, but the way this drama explored it is on another level. Craftsmanship vs immortality.
Idc whether FL's father's protectiveness towards FL led him to slap ML but that guy freaking needs to be put in his place. He is acting all high n mighty and his face itself is giving me instant irritation. Can't even talk properly with his daughter n how dare he slap ML? Fu***ing loser. That primeminister is one more loser. No guts enough to confess to FL but acts like she belongs to him. First off FL should stop acting like a teenager. As per the story she had multiple relationships. It's not like this is something new to her. If it's ML, I wud understand as he literally had zero exp in that area.
There are some plots that instantly draws you in and this is one of those dramas. Damn! this is good. Infact, too good to be true. It's a long drama so will have to see how it progresses but for now it started off on a great note.
Yes agree! Totally imbalanced. She didn’t have a title and was leading army, while he was the commander and…
If they want this to be female-centric, then they should have named it similar to those female empowerment dramas that have "THE LEGEND OF..." in their title, where the ML just plays a supporting character. If they had named it like that, I wouldn't have expected much. Didn't they promote this drama otherwise? All the promotional content they had released so far suggests that it's a general ML-FL balanced drama. It started off like that as well. Why change it in the middle? I feel betrayed after investing so much into their dynamic. The way these guys elevated the director to the next level... omg, I am so pissed.
I thought it was weird how everyone is encouraging her to go into battle and join the war. That seemed propaganda-ish…
Def. It even felt weird coming from her adoptive father. No father wants their kid to go to war. Her decision was to go back to her village and rebuild it. Latet on once war ends ML will take leave from his duties to join her. I thought that they mutually made that decision. I thought that we are done with that. Then all of a sudden, she is going to war. She wants to save her friend. OMG she wants to do so many things. Kudos to the ML for keeping up with her. Her mind keeps on changing. Girl, make up your mind. At this point I think it's better they shift their priorities. ML should go back to that village and start rebuilding while taking care of the kids both Ning'er and Boa'er while FL should take care of the wars and etc....
Yes agree! Totally imbalanced. She didn’t have a title and was leading army, while he was the commander and…
And too much plot amor lol. Why all off a sudden she became a seasoned war campaigner. The way she offed that general and prince changxin like they were nothing all the while she had no battle exp. The plot armor they gave her was just thst she was strong and she learnt some spear techniques from her father. At this point I feel like she is more stronger than Marquis. And by the way she is leading the army. ML is just a commander under her.
I last watch episode 9, waiting for the rest of the episodes. Now this comment is making me reconsider if I should…
I recommend you to watch it and decide for youself. These are just my feelings. I hoped that after their seperation their relationship would evolve to next level like how it happens usually. Like better understanding of each other. But here it's mostly ML making efforts understanding her and her decisions. Maybe I expected too much. They were seperated for so long and I expected a lot after their reunion. So, I blame myself gor expecting too much
I really enjoyed how FYX and FSG from fated hearts started off as enemies but gradually came to understand each other and that progression felt natural and blissful to watch. But in this drama, XZ and FCY began strong in the village, and as the episodes went on, it often felt like XZ was the one constantly making the effort. Whenever FCY suddenly made up her mind, it was XZ who had to bend and understand her.
I get her desire to stand on her own, but the last few episodes leaned too heavily into feminist propaganda. Accepting help from the ML doesn’t diminish her stature, it’s part of partnership. She went off to rescue everyone alone, but if not for the ML’s secret soldiers protecting her behind the scenes, she would have been done for. That makes her character feel inconsistent. She resents others deciding for her, yet she freely decides for others.
The moment she drugged the ML and went to battle in his place was infuriating. What if something had gone wrong? And knocking out that Li guy in the battle today again, her intentions were to protect lives, but the double standards are glaring.
Her arc lost balance. Instead of showing strength through cooperation, it became about sidelining the ML and forcing her independence in ways that felt forced. That inconsistency is what's really bothering me.
Guyz, I know many of us are disappointed on not seeing ML much but plz be patient. Many are frustrated with the screen time of second leads. Drama kinda became predictable in the last few episodes. Scenes didn't feel as powerful as they were in earlier episodes. These things are common in dramas like these especially the ones with so many episodes. It's just a phase. It will start picking up. It will be worth the wait. After the reunion of the leads, things will change. This is kind of good tho. Since they didn't end this last ep on a heavy cliff hanger, I can just give it a rest until some eps drop by as I can't with 1 ep/day schedule.
To each their own and respect to each opinion and trust me I Love This drama but the last 4 episodes were boring…
I actually hoped for a better reunion btw changning and her jiefu. They didn't have many scenes together even after the reunion. I could just a whole ep with just them hanging out. I know these fillins are necessary to drive the story forward but I get your point. Yes, last 4 to 5 episodes are more focussed on second leads. These things are pretty common in long dramas like these.
It's been a long time so forgot about most of them.
