ooh, ill look out for that too. I loved You are My Hero so yeah, this genre really appeals to me. I will say, the flaming heart had some good rescue scenes, it was just literally everything else. tho im still watcching it for the 2nd lead couples which i find are pretty cute

I enjoyed the structure of this show, kind of like it had arcs and sort of an adventure journey vibe to it, which is rare in kdramas

honestly, interesting premise, some surprisingly nice acting sometimes. poor production and what in the is that ending. some things werent fully developed cause of lack of time and also when people died people didnt really react like a normal person????

the poster is really bad tho. i dont know who made it.

still i found some parts intriguing, especially sikongming's story

its pretty obvious who'll she'll end up with since day 1 so yeah, not much angst, maybe silent longing? hahaha

oh i kind of just picked it out of the few historical korean dramas i liked. if you'd like a list of some ones i thought were good:

100 day prince (romantic, comedy, political) - the chemistry is really nice, the acting is great, id say its pretty well written???? also i didnt find the female lead annoying???

also Tale of Nokdu - (romantic, comedy, political) such a unique story, the angst was really good too imo, acting A1. lots of comedy too.

honestly theres not much more I'd reccomend other than sungkwan scandal and the clowned crown which is a bit more serious.

this was such a sweet drama even with slightly dodge subtitiles. i still understood most of it. loved how the two families were best friends and the gradual progression of their feelings. their home town was so pretty too

i also cried like at least 4 times hahahaa

i think him "yelling" at her was getting her to try and wake up which is honestly what a good person would do. her father died, she is in HUGE debt and yet she still wants to live in lalaland buying extremely expensive shoes just to replace ones that broke, still trying to hold free events and invite world famous chefs that will cost so much. only HE was telling her to snap out of it and deal with her problems. he was trying to get her to wake up to her reality.
