wow. i have not seen a couple with so much confidence and chemistry that's so natural. Like i feel acting as a couple is a really difficult thing to do, because it's so hard to fake everyday intimacy and being used to their company, if you know what i mean, so either the leads are actually dating or they just were that good in their roles. either way, i loved the adorableness and messages in this show. the fashion was totally gorgeous too. i'll miss it heaps

the impact of 'something in the rain' really affected asian drama land so much XD (even tho it wasnt even a big age gap in that drama) i swear, "noona romances" have become almost as common as non-age gap dramas

omg i love this drama, just because its the perfect feel-good romantic-comedy set in ancient times and i havent seen a drama like this in a while... i cant even think of anything but it gives me the romcom fluffy historial kdrama vibe with the gorgeous scenery and pretty actors and it's not that deep so don't go expecting plot twists you can't guess, but it's somehow addictive like candy anyway, also it's clearly got a pretty good budget, it's not low quality. anyway, it's pretty much a ceo-secretary drama set in ancient times except it's the army general and his doctor.

ooh, i loved story of minglan, though it's more of a serious well-written drama, whereas this one relies a bit more on special effects, etc. then complex storytelling, but yeah, just try it out, i feel like people either hate this drama or absolutely adore it, so it might end up being your fav of all time, who knows XD
