yeah, personally i found it just got worse and didn't even pick up even near the end, i finished it cause i always finish shows but i skipped and fastwarded a lot. I've seen a lot of long cdrama tho so my patience for them is probs far worse then people watching this as their first cdrama, so if you're like me, i think you'd also find it wayyyy too stretched out
I like the 3rd guy the most, he's so smart and believes he ccan follow his own destiny that he hates that he's stuck in this reincrnation thing forced to love the girl. he obviously cares for her bu refuses to admit it because he wasn't given a choice. of coruse he then exposes himself by saying the 3 of them are reincrnated to love and protect ehr again, meaning he too, loves her, thoguh he will not admit it. idk, i love his character
i really like this drama because despite that it's a low budget idol drama, it's pretty entertaining and funny sometimes and the three emporers are funny. It's a weird concept so don't take it too seriously.
The only part i kind of dislike (which im sure other people adore) is the reverse-harem thing. like, i know for some people this theme will actually be the dramas biggest appeal and you're watching exactly to see 3 hot guys with different personalites chase after the same girl (which nothing wrong with that, they're all super cute and this show defs does well where they don't purely exist to love her, but have their own ambitions and motives). But maybe it's because I can't just not take a drama seriously; I don't like the greedy and shallow undertone that all harems/reverseharem stories have, where through the drama we pretty much get to fantasize about having multiple people like us and all the drama/conflicts that come with that as opposed to finding that one person with whom you can really connect with. I'm personally just not a big fan of the "everyone loves me" syndrome that they put on like every FL, as if she won't be interesting if not every guy falls for her. sighhhhhhh, this is just me being serious on a non-serious fun drama, but it's just because all the emporers are really interesting and unique and i HATE that their potential is wasted in a reverse-harem. Like give them their own love interests!!!!!!!!!!
because like it says in the synopsis, the main FL pretends to be pure and innocent but she's actually super crafty and clever and helps the police with murder mysteries (you could even say her fake "pureness" helps her trick people into admitting their crimes. you could also say that it's called "pure" cause like in all mystery dramas, all the murderers act innocent in the investigations until they get caught. so yeah (: that's why
oh and if you love travelling, you should totally watch this movie, they travel all over asia and so many of the shots are just gorgeous, lots of temple/shrine visiting, city night life and exotic beaches
omg, i loved this movie. i dont even know, the chemistry was so freaking good and the dialogue between the two…
seriously, the bathtub scene was really well written, i almost cried at the end of it. The whole scene was so intense with the build up of emotions because as they got angrier they kept letting more and more walls down and revealing more of how they really felt, until eventually palm finally confesses. and he doesn't even just confess, he scolds her saying she KNOWS he loves her and that she shouldn't use him because of it, which is 1000x better then a simple "because ive always loved you". ugh
omg, i loved this movie. i dont even know, the chemistry was so freaking good and the dialogue between the two of them. I just love to watch conversations between friends veering on the edge of lovers, you get this weird mix of insane honesty that you would never say to a person you like because YOU LIKE THEM, but then when they're your best friend you just end up saying your most honest awkward emotions and it's always so raw and vulnerable, because these two people who act like they say everything on their minds to each other (when they dont) finally talk about the "elephant in the room"
honestly the ost in this show is freaking great. usually for these lower budget dramas they dont put any effort into the background music but all the songs are great and soooo catchy and give the best atmosphere. i swear ive had "im so in love~~~~" stuck in my head for like 3 days
not really as prominent as what you usually see but there is an old married couple storyline because the wife is a bit mentally unstable from losing their son, also there is another loveline between the ceo and his secretary. should i spoiler this lol idunno, it's info you can find on the synposis so haha
omg the rating rose up from the last time i've checked it, is this good??? dropped it at ep 1, i wonder how did…
it's one of the higher quality business dramas if you're still interested. Also the FL is mature and not annoying and the ML isn't a cold jerk. I'd say these are it's strong points
don't know why they describe the FL as icy and aloof, she's actually super sweet and caring and very kind to not only her friends, but strangers as well. She just doesn't have an annoying bratty 10 yr old personality like every other cdrama FL. Which if you dont know, means she isn't obsessed with money regardless of morals, doesn't have a temper over stupid stuff that gets her into trouble, isn't super clumsy and therefore always needs the ML to catch her, isn't overdramatic like an anime character, and doesn't fangirl over how "hot" the ML every 5 second (which no real self-respecting person would do anyway), also she's not dumb af and is succesful in her career. Gasp. She actually acts like a real-life woman. with a brain. shock horror. But i guess if youre not acting like a cute (annoying) 12 yr old, you get labelled as "cold".
omg, i hope this gets subbed soon, it's cliche but i love a "i dont believe in marriage" type of character, the character development is always great XD
I loved his role as the wreckless pirate king because he fits it so well and is soooo charming, but I'd also love,…
yeah, his charisma is not that of the typical "flower idol boy" type, which dont get me wrong, i love too XD but his is more of a mature charisma and it's the best thing ever LOL (but then he has dimples worthy of being called 'cute' so that's confusing lol)
