This makes the plot even weirder. Too coincidence. It would be better if anle/lmx was the one who frame gu qi shan, then at least we know they do/plan something for the revenge.

I was expecting the same. Either LMX or Anle should have been complicated characters who control everything. But i dont know, so far there are no signs of it, and we are already in ep 16.
Hopefully what we expect will happen, so the drama will be much more intense and interesting 😀

Its obvious that the massacre was instructed by the emperor. But for what reason? Nah, i think the writer may be forced to write that the emperor was framed by jing, etc (someone else is the mastermind). Or else how come anle marry a man whose father was the mastermind of her whole family's massacre? Become more illogical 😅

Agree, too weak if a woman kill 80thousand people just because of jealousy. I think the left prime minister/jing related was the master mind. That way the resentment between han and di family can be lessen and the main leads can be together in the end. Actually this plot also weak, because its like just throwing the fault entirely to foreign country, because the writer doesnt have any other way to make the main leads together. 😅

Exactly. I was thinking the same. The plot almost the same as NIF, with romance, it would be a hit. But after watching up to 16 episodes, it seems they choose to emphasize the romance, very little action related to revenge. Eventhough they may change gear soon, but we already miss the build up plot for the revenge.
Episode 14 feels like a filler episode. I'm half-way through episode 15 but I had to pause watching for a while…

For MLC, i hope its not airing with too fast schedule as other lately s+ dramas, so there is enough time for people to digest and talk about the cases, slowly enjoy the plot + acting quality + martial art scenes and of course the visual of the casts, hahaha 😁

Actually i feel the supporting roles also not at their best acting. Only Lin Lang is good, others are like new in acting.
The scene just a man take away his friend who is injured. Feels BL because we get used to watch so many drama scenes where men take away women 😂
