An An can be quite scary. Do not poke 'Xuan Ye'!https://video.h5.weibo.cn/1034:4819904478773252/4820216373056105https://video.h5.weibo.cn/1034:4820225724711045/4820226115372074BTS:Hmm…
Immortal Samsara indeed one of the best xianxia, yes the plot may felt cliche for people who have watched dozen of xianxia dramas before, but for newcomers, its a beautiful plot.
Agree, what make IS stand out is Yang Zi and Chengyi's incredible acting skill, they make the character alive, make us immersed with the characters' feeling.
So, for everyone who appreciate quality of acting, this would be a must watch π
The scene when wu hua counting money one by one in front of her husband, was very touching and made me cry, it…
Another lesson i got from this case, Zhou Yi An thought WH and FX had good foundation for their relationship because they had through hard time together, it turns out that βhappyβ time, rich, success, convenience etc. actually are kind of tests too in our life.
If we arent be careful, they lower our alertness of small problems, and leads us to big problems = another hard time. Mm seems this what is called cycle of life? π€ππππ
I think it is not really money per se. It is about different POV (point of view), Wu Hua thinks she could contribute…
Yes, the pov is also the problem. this problem started and built slowly in 20 years. Actually they started the business together, means wu hua was capable, but because she had to be a stay at home housewife, she cant catch up now.
I think she actually just wanted a recognition from her husband about her role and contribution in starting the business, not about the career. She may also want to get involve again in the business, because she wanted their relationship be back as they used to be.
They actually can communicate what new business and career suitable for her now, but fu xiang point of view that his wife should be at home doing nothing and be satisfied enjoying the money he gives, make it impossible. He completely forget her contribution, abandon and doesnt care about her anymore by staying outside most of the time. He talk to her using cold tone and harsh language as if he looked down on her.
He only care about his business and feel proud that 500 families depend on him. Thats an illusion thinking that he is an important person, to justify that he can abandon his family for that reason. He prioritize money and thinks money could solve everything (he gives his daughter money whenever she ask for it).
People tend to justify and make good cause reasoning for their wrong actions, no one want to admit that they made mistakes, thats why divorces happen π¬
In the end, its all about communication. They ignored the problem and didnt communicate early, after 20 years, its going to far already.
*yes, zhou yi an and his mom are just alike, a little mischievous yet adorable ππ₯°
The scene when wu hua counting money one by one in front of her husband, was very touching and made me cry, it foreshadowed reality how money could do anything, including ruin deep relationship, change people's character, etc.π°
If we arent aware n fix this in early stage, its already too far and no turning back just like fu xiang π
Cheng Yiβs drama Draw The Line is airing now on mangotv youtube channel, it based on controversial real cases. Its very interesting + enjoyable, and now become top drama in china. Check it out guys π
Jin Dong's drama Draw the Line now is airing, its about justice and morality, based on famous real cases. Almost the same as NIF, enjoyable and need deep thinking π
After waiting for so long for the explanation why the immortals were not allowed to fall in love, in episode 54…
If i am not wrong its not a new rule made by ran qing, the rule was already applied before but its not strict enough, so she just want to make it more strict with stronger punishment, cmiiw.
Why deities are better not falling in love? Maybe the analogy is just like priests/monks, they need to focus on spiritual etc and not distracted by worldly things, beside deities have important roles and responsibilities in 3 realms. They are destined/its their own choice to serve other people/the world.
the consequences are big too, because of ranqing, liuwei yang, tao si qi, they fell in love and become the main cause of big wars and cost million of life.
About the emperor, ying yuan said the emperor is his uncle several times, in the film and in the interview.
Ep 16 Yi An said βi havent marriedβ, a few minutes later Ye Xin said βI havent had a babyβ, these 2 lines seems were made in pairs π€£π€£π€£
I was confused too why he killed her ex-girl friend roommate, but below are some points from what i can understand…
Motive of killing :
1. we cant predict or expect an angry person will do reasonable things, uncontrolled emotion could do anything 2. since the two girls are long childhood friend, victim and killer must know each other too, killer may also think that the victim had influenced his girfrield to break up with him, hide her, etc.
Why he left and not waiting to kill Qing Qing? because Muzi's neighbour found out and called the police
About "how did you got the address"? It means Qing never inform Muzi that her exboyfriend stalking her, but yes I agree this point doest prove much.
why Qing was accountable and sentenced too? its not just about she lied during testimony (which i think there is punishment too for lying and giving false testimony in the court, if no punishment then everyone would lie easily and the court wont works anymore).
she was guilty for :
1. Qing didnt do any preventive actions and conciously + continuously (for months) place Muzi in danger situation, since she was staying in her apartment.
- she denied Muzi's advice to report to the police - she was not honest how serious her ex boyfriend threatening her by stalking, etc.
either one of point 1-2 above should have led them to report to the police = prevent the murdering event.
She also had choice to stay somewhere else, but insisting to stay in Muzi's apartment = deliberately make Muzi involved in her danger situation.
2. Qing abandoned Muzi by closing and locked the door that night. yes we can say she was panicked and just as killer unreasonable action, everything could happen in panic situation.
I agree this is not law matter, but morality. the court just want to teach public its not ok for us to abandon our friend especially our long + close friend that had helped us alot.
3. Qing attacked the plaintiff (Muzi's husband) when she was sued, by spreading false rumours to drive public opinion. This actually can be sued back by the plaintiff.
so in the end, i think Qing was lucky enough to be sentenced just to pay compensation only, not being sued back for spreading false rumours or placing her friend in continuous danger situations.
and yes, cases in draw the line seems to be carefully chosen to teach us about morality, not just pure law, to prevent same situations happen again in the future.
Anyone, please dont give ratings just because of poor subs, if we dont understand the subs, just drop and leave it alone. Or just because of certain actors. Or competition for top airing show list.
Give everyone else a chance to watch this. This drama teaches so many life lessons we dont get from common dramas. Dont hinder other people from getting and learning these life lessons.
Its very sad to see the rating keep going down without real and reasonable reason πππ
if this keep going, many people will just miss this out in the future if they filter the ratings π
Btw, yesterday i emailed mangotv asking why no subs on ep15, they responded surprisingly quickly and said they are working very hard providing subtitles + "Our team is dedicated to providing you with the cleanest translations,"
Funny since its mtl, maybe cleanest mtl?π€£π
Anyway whats interesting is it means draw the line's translation has not finished/done for the whole series, they are still in the middle of translating it and there is hope they will fix it, at least for next episodes
So lets email them together to ask human translation, their email is [email protected]
And us too π
*This line reminds me why i started to love n support CY, he is so sincere in everything he doesβΊοΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
