Also she was keep bragging about her and "handsome brother" without thinking Dr. Gu was also feeling insecure and at his 1st relationship, and her stupid BFF made things worse by flaunting their past together in front of him.

episode 16 and no, I won't call it a triangle, though there is a third wheel for a brief moment but things gets cleared up fast and clean.

I'm sorry but you can't compare motherly love with a GF/BF relationship. I would allow my m om to yell and scold me and even kick me, though I will reply back verbally, but still is my mom and that makes the story a whole another porridge... I would never allow my BF/husband to do that to me, even if I know I'm wrong kicking me verbally with a heavy insult and literally hitting me when I'm at my lowest point in my life, that only a total jerk does. There are no excused for that sort of attitude. Never ever condone abuse, either if is coming from a man or a woman.
