To be honest I tried to read the novel and I found it extremely bland, to the point I was thinking this drama won't be good, I also dropped it after few chapters in. I'm so grateful that the production team and the scriptwriter has changed things and put more life and spin into it.

You will enjoy it, after first 3 episodes the drama becomes better and better, up to ep 10-11 you will be addicted like all of us :D

The drama is AWESOME to say the least, all actors so far (well maybe except the last entry imo) does an exceptional job.

Annnnddd the most annoying and hateful character in the drama has appeared. I wasn't bothered by Dr. Gao so much, but this dude needs to evaporate and fast! Also, sorry for the actor's fans if there are any in here, but his acting is so forced and fake that it ruins my awesome experience with this series with his cheap take on the role. UUUGHHH!!

Episodes 11 and 12 were FANTASTIC! Loved every single second of them, tomorrow can't come any sooner! Gao will have a male counterpart to make us become crazy, but also hilarious to see Gu Wei jealous. 😁

Not really, in my country ppl lives with their parents even up till age 40 or so, unless they have a house and /or are married. Many of my friends are still living with their parents even after they get married tbh.

This is an adaptation though, adaptations doesn't mean the drama script must follow the novel word by word, that's why it is called adaptation... it is adapted to fit the screens.
