It's been a while where we got a show with a great moral where it doesn't just virtue signal and preaches, but shows it. Looking good so far; hope it stays up to expectation.
But kdrama does promote getting so blackout drunk you wander the streets, in a daze, late at night, vomit on strangers,…
Again, the distinction is, you are responsible for yourself, not for others. So one night stands or jeopardizing your life wouldn't go against my original claim. However, I do agree K-dramas often have double standards and portray abusive women/women going on a drunken tirade as something tolerable and cute. This occurs because the implication is that women aren't truly "harmful." So, it's an optics issue and something that I do think should be taken more seriously. But K-drama does not glorify drinking culture that causes serious harm onto others, such as drunk driving, drunk vandalism, or domestic abuse as many commenters are conflating. Even when the women go on a drunken tirade, they don't beat the guys; they give them a nosebleed (in comedic fashion) at worst. And once they start breaking glasses and vandalizing property, you know it's a serious issue and a big no-no lol.
These comments lol... K-Media and K-culture may promote drinking culture but it doesn't promote drunk driving. The simple distinction is: If you bring harm to yourself through legal vices, be at liberty to and take responsibility. If it can potentially cause harm onto others, then no; others shouldn't have to take responsibility for your actions.
And what if he was revived just before everyone voted out jun hee maybe that's why he wasn't fully executed....so…
That depends on the type of audience. The advertisers marketed this show as a whodunnit (Mafia) mystery, so I am basing my views of the show by this standard. If they failed in screenplay rather than in directing, cinematography, or acting, where budgeting may play a more direct role, then it's not okay for me personally.
A (whodunnit) mystery is strictly different than a thriller or a horror. If a thriller/horror is illogical, one can overlook its flaws because the purpose of the film is to either horrify or thrill its audience. Yet, for a whodunnit, its purpose is to present a puzzle and give the audience the opportunity to solve the mystery. If the writers don't adhere to the rules of the show themselves, then it's simply not a good mystery. And so, the show lost its entertainment value. Now, you can approach the drama as a thriller/horror/high school drama show, but it is very subpar by these standards too.
And what if he was revived just before everyone voted out jun hee maybe that's why he wasn't fully executed....so…
I don't think you're understanding my point. We're not thinking about the precise time, but we're thinking about it in terms of phases. Day phase is when you can vote; Night phase is when people with abilities can use their abilities. These phases are separated so that the game of Mafia is not heavily favored for one side. So, if the writers just claim, "Oh, actually, in our Mafia universe, there's a slight technicality that enabled the ML to survive" then that's still deus ex machina. There could be thousands of technicalities. For example, the technicality you provided or "prevention of execution" isn't limited to night but also day executions, but these are still ultimately dumb reasons. Why would the game maker give such an overpowered ability to the doctor to conveniently figure out just before the ML is about to die? It's lazy writing at best.
Facts. I think the production team just wanted the prestige of modern hanbok designs accepted by Milan so they plagiarized, but regular people are not thinking these modern hanboks are so impressive they are modern day Da Vincis... especially when they were just used as decorations lol. If the design/art team spent a few more minutes making further modifications, there is no way anyone would know they were copied. Like, the original just look like skimpier hanboks, which does not seem difficult to alter.
Let's be real, there is nothing new under the sun. Designers are inspired by other designers all the time; they just hide their influences better. Come to me when you have something actually original and then I would be willing to hold my pitchfork with you.
And what if he was revived just before everyone voted out jun hee maybe that's why he wasn't fully executed....so…
Whether it's regular Mafia or all the previous examples we've seen in the show, once the voting happens, the player who got voted off (during the day) dies, THEN Night begins. If you claim that the player who got voted off merely went unconscious and then at Night the Doctor saved the unconscious player, then that's still inconsistent writing/deus ex machina. Why didn't this happen for any of the previous players and why only the ML?
And what if he was revived just before everyone voted out jun hee maybe that's why he wasn't fully executed....so…
That still wouldn't make sense. Before ML's death, everyone who was voted off got possessed, died, and then there was an announcement pronouncing their role. But once ML got possessed, the writers simply ignored that rule? That would still be indicative of an inconsistent writing. Also, it's only after the voting phase (Day phase) that Night begins. Mafia, Cop, and Doctor can only use their abilities during the Night. You can't have the Doctor saving during the Day as that would be extremely unfair.
she’s defo not the doctor. She’s a dumbass minion who can’t use her brain and take revenge. she doesn’t…
Hey dumbass. First, Na Hee isn't the mafia. Too stupid to keep track of character names? Second, if you know how to play Mafia, you'd know that you can't just revive dead players. You can only save players if they are attacked at night. But considering you're too stupid to know which character is which, I wouldn't be surprised if you couldn't find this basic information on your own. "This drama is too complicated..." Hahahahaha. The fact that you think this drama is complex in any sense indicates how you can't reason at all.

"she’s defo not the doctor. She’s a dumbass minion who can’t use her brain and take revenge." Then you want to talk about "baseless theories." Lmao. Turn off your emotions and think for a second. Why DIDN'T the doctor protect someone the night everyone barricaded themselves?
LOLOL The writers brought back ML with the Doctor's ability even though it should only work for those killed at night. They just bring him back with deus ex machina. What a shit show.
It's almost confirmed that Mafia is either coder girl or Na-Hee or both, as they are the only ones who knew about the CCTV room (unless someone overheard their conversation in the distance, which is a lame copout). Na-Hee is sus because she saw Go Kyung Jun throw her bf's phone yet she insisted that her bf died because he was helping her. But all the weird stuff that happened in the CCTV room would be best explained if coder girl was Mafia (although, if she were Mafia, it is kind of bizarre that she'd actually succeed in recovering the files - maybe it was to protect her friend?).
However, Na-hee is most likely the Doc because her situation would best explain why the Doc didn't (or couldn't) heal someone on the third Night: everyone barricaded themselves and she has trouble moving around; she also vowed she'd protect her bf, but the bf obviously gets killed for not voting. These facts would be best explained if she were the Doc.

I agree with your braver scriptwriting comment though.

istg MDL and its unhinged, parasocial fanbase...
What does that even mean? LMAO
I've already dropped the show.

Also, why do you assume the doctor had been smart..?
